My BP has always been good around 100-120 systolic over 50-70 diastolic on or off. Keep in mind on is just adding a compound in low dose to my TRT. The only bad BP spikes is when I start HGH - it jumps 10-15 points so I now get ready in advance and increase my fish oil and nigella sativa prior. Once you health goes if it's serious - you have F all in life.
There is no reason acceptable for anyone to be near the hypertensive crisis numbers or extremely high RHR regardless of what you take. There are a myriad of supplements that work as good as medication and if needed go to the f'n doctor and get a script. High BP over an extended time and a high RHR is a recipe for disaster. Just think about the potential damage to your kidneys.
I would disagree - some guys on here are very fit, lean muscular and take their health very seriously and don't abuse PED's but use them. Like all forums some people believe ignorance is bliss and abuse PED's and if they feel OK, figure all is good. Carrying around all that excess weight you normally wouldn't do and considering what we know some PED's can do and people take then it is not surprising some have negative repercussions.
Further, I have read some the diets by guys on the forums who claim to be dieticians and they don't eat one vegetable or piece of fruit. We are omnivores and as such should be eating nuts, seeds, vegetables, fruits, meats, etc. How many guys take EVOO regularly or check their BP minimum of 3 times a week? A few tweaks and you can change your diet around and have a healthy diet that will help grow muscle.
@Sorbate has teased my because my BP and RHR is so low asking if I'm alive - it took a lot of work and I received help from some guys who compete and want to be around for their kids.
I don't care who you are, what level you are at, there is no excuse for high BP - go to your doctor and ask on the forums for supplements that work. There are some supplements that work as well as script medications in double blind placebo studies and have health benefits. People in this life style should concentrate on two things among many others but these two are important:
1. Keep inflammation down in your body - I don't mean just your muscles/joints but your organs and overall system.
2. Make sure glutathione is always high enough. Easy to do unless you are on harsh PED's, drinking and taking a Tylenol then you may have to turn up the precursors to glutathione but it can be done.
Just my opinion and in no way is this medical advice.
