I can only tell you what my naturopathic books say and I'm not saying I agree with it but quality fish oil will help lower triglycerides but has little impact on ldl/high cholesterol. I suspect many would disagree based on their own usage and blood work.Is fish oil good for lowering ldl or just lowering triglycerides?
Regardless of what I read I won't stop taking Carleson's fish oil - the benefits are numerous and I find it hard to imagine it doesn't help with lipids based on what I read and see.
That being said you can go to naturopathic websites and they will state it will not - just your triglycerides.
