37 male, currently on 425 mg weekly of test. Mass is building up and I think it causes knee arthritis ( diagnosed by gp and xrays done today ) . In 2 months I went from 232 to 253 so im sure this is putting preasure on my joint. Looking to counter it mid cycle. Whats the best protocol for using deca for joint issues? This is the first time knees issues have been a problem for me.

You gained 21 lbs in two months on 425 mg of test? That is phenomenal or it is your first cycle/hyper-responder. Deca helps with pain and many people add in 50 mg a week to help with pain and it works but it does not fix the issue. If you have arthritis, there are only a few things that may 'fix' it and expect to empty your wallet. If you add 150 mg of deca to the test expect your weight to shoot up more. 150 mg of Deca and I will gain 10-15 lbs over 4 months. That is on top of TRT - I don't exceed 250 mg of combined PED's.

Per @Funnyman - good quality fish oil in higher dosage (start low and build up) helps with inflammation.
SAMe did as well as celebrex for arthritic pain in 2 weeks and is not a script supplement. I posted the study.
Glucosamine/chondroiten/MSM mix is known to help knee pain albeit you have to stick with it for a few months before you may see anything. Some people don't see much from it. I know people who can't go without it. @Oldguyjiujitsu - uses it and he finds it helps / I do too.
Another option is to drop the weight and work on being leaner. I get the size desire but are you getting paid to be 253 lbs? If additional weight is hard on your joints at 37 - think how it will be at 57. Just a consideration.
There are a lot of other herbs/supplements you can take that will help, happy to mention them if you want.

Best of luck as knee pain sucks.

Temper expectations with nandralone and joint relief. Symptom relief, if any, will be temporary only. Remember what nadralone does to potentially relieve joint point and, therefore it's limitations. The thought of throw some deca at my injury is short sighted. I can't say this is your perception, or it doesn't have some merit in certain circumstances. What I'm saying is know why you're doing it and assess to determine if it may help the situation you are in. This idea should be apply to all decisions when considering drugs to address issues. Whether they be symptom or actual cause.

Be aware that nandralone's benefits are not universal and can be exaggerated in many cases. And no doubt, subject to placebo effect.

If you're not already old, dry and inflammed, deca isn't truly helping anything joint wise. It doesn't address soft tissue inflammation pain, again unless it can relieve some friction and resultant inflammation. Already old, dry and inflamed? Different circumstances..... perhaps.

At 37, you may feel some benefits from the addition of nandralone, again - short term directly limited to use. However as @Goldenrod advised....if the known cause was the weight going on.....get that weight off, at least some. Weight gain like that isn't all going to be lbm.

You may patch job it short term....but the problem isn't going to go away by only addressing symptom, and not cause.

Ironically I started taking glucosamine/fish oil/magnesium years ago expecting joint pain. I was accualy much heavier 3 years ago with no joint pain. But leaning back down to 230 will probably be my next go to. It kinda sucks putting on mass only to find yourself needing to lean out.

I feel its weight related. Either way I'll probably try leaning out down to 230 again and hope it goes away. Im really happy with my improvements right now in the gym and didnt want it to come crashing down over joint pain. Im lifting more at 37 then I was in my 20s.

I agree with most on not deca for joint heslth. Your better off with natural supplements and some rehab exercises or tendon and ligament strengthening exercises. Knees over toes guy is someone id recommend looking into as well.

Good to know. Think I'll book into my local physio and kin and do some work on it rather then throw deca at the problem.

I have never had knee issues before.

I did but I would say 10 pounds is bloat and watter. I was sick with the flu one day and never ate and drank and dropped to 242 in a day lol. 425mg for me has been more then enough, maybe could have gone with 300-400mg. I have always been a bigger guy though, alcohol and drugs always thrown me off my gym routine though in the past.

Is there any concensus here on what the minimum dose for joint lubrication is while using nandrolone on TRT?

You knee pain can be contributed to numerous things. The arthritis could have been from years of being heavy and the joints not tracking right.

You are young, first thing I would try to do is physio. Find a goodone that will help you train properly in proper motions that will not aggravate your joint pain.

Maybe you need to relook at how you are doing squats and mauybe you are going too heavy with leg extensions and the machine gets too deep and is aggravating your joints?

You can use deca to help and it likely will, but fix the underlying issues as well or it will get worse.

I have used it on and off over the years (since I was 46, now 55)
For me

50 mg a week if you just need a bit of lubing and feel stiff and old. I would run it every other year in sept, oct, Nov. These used to be my hardest working and lifting times at work and I wanted the extra omph and relief with aching from the very long days (sometimes 18 hours)
Pros: You get no sides
Cons: Lubing is limited and for minor aching, best for when you are older.

150 mg if you are fucked and injured yourself and need more lubrication so soft tissue and tendons can heal because they can glide over more juice (lol)
Pros: works great for that, and does help healing but you need to do rehab with it.
Cons: you get deca sides

This is what I found worked for me. You can do 100 but you still get deca sides, so might as well get the extra benefit from 150

Thing is I just finished my cycle (7 weeks). I don't want to be on anything for the next 6-8 weeks except some HCG and maybe some enclompihene sprinkled in. But man for years even in my 20s I suffer from dry joints. It wasn't until I used nandrolone I didn't feel like an old man. I always thought I was lifting wrong or out of alignment. I've had the luxury of having a brother that's a physiotherapist and trust me nothing worked. Kettlebells and mobility work helped with doing things correctly but not lubrication. I noticed it got worse when my carbs got lower too.

I'd prefer not to take anything while I'm off AAS but if 50mg of deca while I'm off cycle keeps me training still and consistent because I'm pain free I'll entertain the idea seriously. If anyone knows of anything that can help me besides drugs I'd appreciate it greatly.

Sorbate, is 50mg the lowest you've tried?

If you I take deca, you know your natural test will stop. Youll have to take 100 mg of test with it.

Anyhow I have taken glucosamine/chroditin/msm for ever, since I was 20. I never had issues with stiffness till I was 48ish.
Not sure how old you are

Thing is with glucosamine, its like face cream, you can’t put it on at 50 and expect to have young skin, its something you start when you are young to keep things from getting worse.

Only other thing that will help lie deca without deca is pentosan sulphate, but good luck finding it.

I plan on using HCG on and between cycles as long as I'm using AAS so no need to add test for me.

I've tried glucosamine for years, even in large doses and no positive effects. Collagen has helped more than anything else so far. I've been doing some research as of late on hyaluronic acid and that seems like it's more likely to help with the synovial fluid aspect I'm concerned with rather than joint repair or anti-inflamation.

I'm in my early 30s.
