recommended tv shows & movies

Just finished season 3 of Last Kingdom on Netflix. It is really well acted and a great story. I read all 10 books and rarely do i enjoy the shows as much as the books but his one is outstanding.

the books are on my to read list. there is just not enough hours in a day. and personally I much prefer a book to a show

Bodyguard on Netflix was a good watch.

I like that they compacted the story in less episodes than the normal 10 for Netflix and kept you hooked in while maintaining the intensity.

probably the best sports docudrama ive seen other than pumping iron is called murderball. its about a sport called wheelchair rugby created in canada. the sport attracts high testosterone athletes, mostly put in wheelchairs doing high testosterone sports. big drama with canada vs usa. inspiring stories and assholes who need to chill out.

also old recommendations for guy who might be too young to have seen the first time. hbo band of brothers and rome. bob is not only a great story but also a visual masterpiece. watching it on a giant highdef screen is just breathtaking. rome is a multilevel story of julius caesar. some badass combat.

Yesterday I binged the Sinner...good stuff! The intention was not to stay up till 1 am but I couldn't walk away lol

A few that we just binged

Disjointed - it's about a dispensary and it's pretty good watch

Happy - LMFAO yup it's on Netflix cop sees his daughters imaginary friend unicorn named happy and he has to find his daughter that was kidnapped it's good

Titans - it came out on Netflix and is DC based characters

Chilling adventures of Sabrina - Netflix it's a dark remake of the childhood show

Santa Clarita diet - on Netflix

Gerald's game - Netflix what starts out as a man handcuff his wife to a bed followed by a Viagra heart attack turns into an hour of wtf and the ending explains alot of the movie that makes you go that was fucked, Good movie

Finished up Haunting of Hill house on Netflix and really enjoyed it, not a horror fan either but its not really scary just jump scares.

Also I'll second Titans. Watching this right now and loving it.

I just finished The Devil We Know. It's a documentary about Teflon poisoning a community.

Not sure if this show has been mentioned here yet but just incase it hasn't, "Bigger". The story of the Weider brothers, I really enjoyed it. Not top notch acting but not bad either, Calum Von Moger did a really job of playing a younger Arnold.

was just about to mention it. didn't even know it existed till i turned on kodi on the adroid box and stumbled upon it. it was a good movie

Finished Titans already I liked it.

They are going to do a doom patrol spin off.

Doom patrol is fairly similar to the x men right down to the professor. It was ripped off by marvel a month after it was released and the x men became much more popular. I figure as soon as most see their titans cameo they are going to think x men rip off lol.

Narco's Mexico on Netflix was great

Fyre - on netflixs was a good laugh, butch of losers fraud 30n million dollars out of investors to host a party for 6000 millenials in the Bahama's, epic fail!!

Ballers on HBO is amazing!

Just watched Bad Blood on Netflix. Well done Canadian show about the gangs in Montreal. Only six episodes in season 1 so a quick binge 😉

Omg, I waste too much time...lol
Peakey Blinders
Banshee
Ray Donovan
Vikings
And the new one is a comedy
The Ranch
It's so fucking funny, I love it. I'm a hick at heart from the mountains so it's up my alley.

The ranch is amazing, not as good without Hyde (that 70’s show dude I have no idea his real name)
Shameless is pretty good too
