Legs

One thing you don't want to do is get yourself too used to going easy. It's so hard to get back in that range of effort that makes legs grow. I've lost size slowly over time this way. I still need 38 waist jeans to not look like some skinny jean wearing queer so it's not like I've lost that much.

But legs are a different animal, it's easy to understand how most just don't give a fuck to train em all that hard. Besides, most girls find HUGE legs disgusting. I never wanted to take this to a level that would create such an effect nor do I think I will ever have to worry about that!

But there is a certain form of respect given to guy's who bust ass on leg day. This goes from guy's doing 500lbs to guy's doing 135 for the last time. Those who do those grinding reps you know will be taxed for later on capture my attention as hardcore.

Me? No longer hardcore week in/week out but enough to maintain the majority of what I had. Trained legs real hard yesterday and woke at 2.30 in the afternoon today! WTF?

Training them at work too....
Beeing a roofer, i can put some pretty decent load on my shoulder ....climbing a 2 story house with 2 bundles of shingles on your back can kill legs very quickly.if done multiple Times a day .....

Still squatting every other week ....
Trying to get a least one leg day every 10 days beside my everyday training on ladders...

Climbing ladders after leg days is not just hard, its dangerous as you can let it go and fall, so i always do my legs the day before a day off.....

My legs are on par with my upperbody doing this.... always had good legs though...

Man you guys are lucky. I have to hit legs twice a week & they're still pathetic.

We should definitely get a leg picture thread going...

No idea how your back can handle this.

Do not do this on your first day....
Been roofing since 18 years..... i build it up slowly....
Got to have your core really tight and climb the ladder explosivly....

Squatting for five must be tough doing roofing.

Been avoiding regular squats for a little while due to a sore knee and have only been doing Hack Squats along with the rest of my normal leg workout. I finally did some regular squats yesterday and they felt great and was able to push some good weight without much pain. I still did the Hack Squats on top of them to celebrate! :D
