Just picked one of this up.

Pretty amazing the data it provides and with 98% accuracy which is almost as good as a Dexa Scan.

Interested to know if anyone else is using these.

Maybe not healthy aging other than metabolic health and how that relates to aging well.

I don't have one of those nice ones but I have an older Tanita one (approx. 20+ years) and a newer, fancy one with an app. from Amazon. I currently like my older one better since I'm the most used to it and have used it reliably for staying on track while cutting a few times.

They vary from morning and at night and how much food, water, what kind of workouts I have been doing, when my last refeed day was, etc.

This one does look better though. Do you find having the handheld part helps get more accurate readings?

I bought the Arloleaf smart scale. Similar but not as high end. Love it. Massive amount of info. Have read that they may be a few % off on body fat or muscle mass but are consistent. So good at tracking if losing or gaining either.

It's really as accurate as they advertise? I've read mixed reviews on reddit.

I have a hard time trusting smart scales ever since the fancy one at goodlife said I was 10% body fat at the peak of my bulk when I was easily 18%+.
The trainer tried to defend the results and I was like: buddy, I'm fat as fuck and this thing is telling me I'm ready to hop on stage. 😂

I think it’s pretty close. I’m ready consistently around 15% bf which is pretty close based on calipers. Also there’s a peptide Dr on YouTube who compares it to Dexa and says it’s pretty accurate

I don’t need it to be perfect but it’s good to see progression in the app.

I just had a Dexa done this morning, Hume reported 8.7%, Dexa reported 7.55% - I think they're both low but definitely close to each other. The Me360 app says 15.5% and ChatGPT says 11-12% based on pictures.

I think one of the big problems that I find with these overall is that I get readings and agree with them (or the overall average of them) for the most part but it also greatly depends on where you hold water (especially with Test, estrogen, HGH, other hormones, peptides, etc.) as that can throw you off on visual estimates at times. They can be good for watching progress over time if comparing apples to apples or oranges to oranges though.

I use both the pod and the band. Not sure on accuracy but it is a good way to follow a lot of data. It does read when Bf% is going up and down when it should. I found when it reads your muscle displacement it can change on the way you stand. If one shoulder is slouched say I get a different reading between left and right side then when both are in the same position. Overall love this for an idea on how I'm progressing (or recessing). I use the band to track my sleep at night. Anyone that thinks they may have sleep apnea this will help as it gives different readings with and without my mask on for my oxygen levels, heart rate and sleep quality. Going to do a dexa scan shortly to see how close things really are for me

no slight on anyone using such devices, I believe they have a place to use as a tracking method but I always chuckle at mentions of accuracy percentage. And I mean for any method. Even if the gold standard is using a few of the methods combined or maybe you consider Dexa to be the gold standard. 98%? accurate 1%? 3%? error rate or whichever way you want to state it where the fuck do these numbers come from? MRI maybe?
If you say 97% accurate what are you comparing it to? My guess would be the most accurate way to measure would be with some super serious expensive lab equipment on a dead body. Burning it and measuring what was expelled or some chemical extraction method ?

Did these companies run their test on some human trafficking victims and then immediately off them and drop them in a vat of chemicals?

Is the government involved? Big Pharma? Freemasons? Blackrock? Who knows how far up this goes! I'm freaking out!
