We're you eating at maintenance/recomp rate or cut calories and let muscle memory get the size back. Because you definitely look like you pulled a Kevin Levrone, you know growing back into a show type.
I'm more interested in your nutrition, I'm always curious on how different individuals transform after being detrained or not serious in the gym for quite some time. Diet wise what did you follow? Carb cycling, keto or anything particular?
I didn’t wanna go into this too much cuz I can’t even explain why I changed so fast.
When I was competing / dieting harder ( display pic) it was no cheats for 8-12 weeks
Same meals. Everything measured. Carbs counted and cycled
I eventually wirh the first cycle before this
Started eating smarter
Not calculated meticulously but 4-6 meals
All whole meals
Aiming at 200-300g carbs per day and 1g protien per bw
And just being consistent with trianing and cardio
So when I called off the wedding I was able to accelerate the focus on myself
But at the same time still enjoy eating out and cheat meals but nothing abusing but I was back in the gym training just as hard
Before I would give excuses I ate bad this week trianing hard won’t do anything… half ass or skip the gym and that led me to picture 1.. mind you toxic partner and bad habits outside gym also lead to that shape
So now I am sleeeping good
Wake up
5 whole eggs + oatmeal 1 cup or a bagel
Train
Post workout shake
Then a meal of 200g meat with rice
Another shake or oatmeal mixed with a protien
And 1 other final meal of meat and rice or pasta or potatoes
And I am not scared to eat out but clean ( which I wasn’t doing previous diets )
In the sense of eating poulet rouge or a poke bowl or sushi
