Hi Guys I need help,

I have been in a 400 Calorie Deficit for over a month now. I am on 600mg Test, 400mg Masteron, 40mg Anavar everyday. I am training hard and my lifts are going up each week. High protein diet. I can’t get rid of this belly fat for the life of me. Any suggestions?

questions for extra context:
how many cycles have you done in the past, what’s the scale doing, what changes in the
mirror have you seen, are you getting back in the gym after a hiatus, how old are ya, when was your last cycle, what’s your BF%

Hate to say it, but if your not loosing any weight after a month your probably not in a calorie deficit.

Also 600 test a week is a lot depending on your body fat percentage a good portion of that could be converted to estrogen. Depends how lean you are and how much muscle mass you have. Can your body handle 600 test a week?

If your feeling strong and your lifts are improving your obviously building muscle. The scale doesn’t always tell the whole story. I take progress pictures weekly to help track my results better personally.

Well shit guys!! Looks like I need to lower the test down. I mean I do feel more puffy in the face and such. My BF% is 17% I’m 5’10 185lbs. This is my send cycle. First cycle was 500mg per week for 12weeks then down to 175 for a cruise

checking thyroid hormones isn’t a bad idea, but most likely not the culprit and don’t want to jump to conclusions. Ur likely just overestimating ur calories.

Also like others said those are relatively high doses for a cut, but I also don’t know how u respond to gear, for me trt and anavar would be sufficient for a cut. Maybe some gh and fasted cardio with clen but no reason to do more than necessary

If the scales not moving down and the weights are moving up (quickly and or easily) youre just not on a steep enough deficit. How accurately are you tracking? Gotta weigh out and log religiously to get your bearings.

Guys, thank you very much. All the input has been great to receive. I am newer to all of this so still in the “Gathering my bearings” mode. I have trouble with the calorie intake calculators to find my maintenance. I never really know how to estimate if I am Active, everyday or lightly active. And I feel that input changes a lot

hey man. as you say you’re new to this which is cool. maybe you jumped the gun on PEDs if that’s the case but we’re here now right. i’d urge ya to read as much as you can, lots of good info on the forum. asking questions is the right way to go about things as well.
i think the calculators are a decent guide but they’re not at all accurate. i personally calculated my maintenance from them then tracked my weight, averaged out over the week then adjusted the calories based on what the scale did.
you’re also most likely recomping since you’re just getting into the game, so the scale may not be the best guide. progress pics may be better.

Tracking your daily steps, any cardio you do and at what bpm, then putting that into ai assistant with your height weight age etc helps to get a more accurate maitenance.
It worked pretty smack on for me, I got 2500 calories out and weigh myself every morning after a deuce and my weight is a flat line.

Thanks for that. My only other option was taking my weight and multiplying it by 10

$20 digital food scale from Amazon is a game changer. Then you absolutely know what you are eating.

A Dexa scan is well worth the money and can give you your base calories to target for weight gain or loss.

Drop the test to 400 for a bit first, see what happens. Then go lower. Slashing in half right away may give you some lethargy/sides.

Then taper down the Mast. You can run 1:1 and shouldn’t be an issue.

Others might have some ideas on that but I would also stay at 40mg Anavar.

You didn’t say what you do for cardio and simply increasing that should affect the fat loss. I suspect it’s calorie accuracy and the high test dose IMHO.

How long and hard have you been dieting? How old are you?

Good chance if you have been aggressively cutting calories (esp the wrong kind), doing cardio, training etc that you have stunted your metabolism. I ask your age because the older you are, the easier it is to shut your metabolism down. The more calorie deifficent you are, the more liely you will shut your metabolism down.. the longer you live in a deficict, the easier it is to shut it down.

I just saw this, in general, for a second cycle 600 is a lot. Most would probably run 250-300 first cycle then 400-500 second cycle. At 17% your body is probably aromatizing the test like crazy. Nothing really says you need to change the Mast/Anavar.
