Hi
@Bigbear - I know you have written about your past life and getting into some trouble. Has the reason for the issue been diagnosed? I know boxers who had damaged/broken jaws who deal with this and they had to do what
@Rhyno said and get a mouth piece for sleeping and wear it as much as possible to prevent accidental jaw clenching or an anatomical issue which may require a surgical issue.
Most often you are diagnosed and given a medication and told it will go away. Only had it diagnosed once and it never stayed, but I have not had an issue since sleeping on my back in a somewhat upright position - adjustable bed with my CPAP machine. Maybe a coincidence but I am not complaining.
Some have it bad and it is disabling and they can't eat, are in chronic pain, and docs just give you muscle relaxers and anti-inflammatory meds.
@3ml - did you have to sleep on your back? Were you sleeping on your stomach and putting your jaw in a compromised position?
