pot destroys rem sleep. better off getting a muscle relaxer or actual sleep aid if you have trouble falling asleep.I still can't wear my mask past 3 hours lol... like clock work I wake up half asleep and peel it off. It feels like such a relief to get it off, but I'm half asleep and I have no issues with wearing it while I fall asleep.. lol.. Just odd..
My fitbit shows how well I sleep with the mask.. and then it shows when I take it off and my sleep goes to hell lol..
I decided to quite using pot pre sleep. I only used the tinnest little puff and only before I put my head on my pillow., but I'm sensitive to it.. so I know it made me fall to sleep easier.. But I quite to see if maybe I wake up when it wears off? Been a full week without using any pot pre sleep . I think I need more time to adjust to see if that's the issue.
Do you have a pic of your sleep data? I'm just curious how bad mine is in comparison. I wake up a lot but I know I have sleep apnea and my score isn't too brutal. For me it's usually rem that suffersI still can't wear my mask past 3 hours lol... like clock work I wake up half asleep and peel it off. I added mine from last night. I had today off so I was up a bit late playing cyberpunk, I slept in but I got a restful sleep.Do you have a pic of your sleep data? Over the past several weeks I’ve been waking up more than usual and I suspect it to be my apneas getting worse. I noticed as I was falling asleep, I’d often choke up as my air ways became more relaxed. Anyways, I’ve been messing around with my pressures today. Originally it was set on APAP ranging from 7.0-16.0. I adjusted it, increasing the low end threshold and decreasing to total range. Now set to 9.0-13.0 took a nap and that amount of pressure felt promising.
Anyways, a couple questions-
Do you guys notice a demand for higher pressure as your weight climbs?
Do you prefer CPAP or APAP? I’ve never tried the constant pressure but have you noticed a benefit to it?
Waking up frequently is a pretty good indication that you're having apnea, if I don't wear mine I'll wake up a few times to urinate but if I use my machine I can sleep through the night.Over the past several weeks I’ve been waking up more than usual and I suspect it to be my apneas getting worse. Me tooI have not sleep for more than 7 hours since I started tracking my sleep.. I don't know how I would even feel if I got a full 8 hours lol
You wake lots.
It's wake ups I have sleep apnea I need to start using my machineYou wake lots.
Or is it just registering movement?
I have used the smart watch and the Aura Ring and I maybe woke 1-2 times a night. Unless I am not wearing my mask. But I also sleep like a log and rarely move once asleep. It could be normal though @Sorbate

Yes, it's very common to wake up multiple times during the night, even 20 or 30 times, without realizing it, as these are often brief, subconscious awakenings that you quickly fall back to sleep from.
Here's a more detailed explanation:
Normal Sleep Cycles:
Sleep isn't a continuous state; it involves cycles of light and deep sleep, with brief awakenings occurring naturally between these cycles.
Mini-Awakenings:
These brief awakenings are often so short that you don't even register them, and you quickly drift back to sleep.
Not a Cause for Concern:
Unless you're struggling to fall back asleep or experiencing other sleep problems, these frequent, unnoticed awakenings are generally considered normal.
Yea i need to keep trying to get used to mine. I just throw it off in the middle of the nightI have used the smart watch and the Aura Ring and I maybe woke 1-2 times a night. Unless I am not wearing my mask. But I also sleep like a log and rarely move once asleep.
