What happens when you hold in a fart

Oh my basement is wicked. I finished it a few years ago. If I sleep down there in the winter, I open a couple of vents a bit.
Or turn of the fireplace, watch tv on the 56” I have in the basement. The hide a bed has a memory foam mattress, it’s comfortable. Truthfully I sleep down there lots. It’s not that I don’t love my wife, but I like to stay up later, this way I can eat, drink, watch whatever I want until 1 am if I want on a work night, lol.
