What do you guys eat after a workout?

I use pasta too.. it’s good. It’s just rice digests so fast that when you’re eating 6 meals a day … you stomach has to be ready and ready and ready. Wel you get the picture.

Makes sense. If pasta takes longer it just won't do with the amount I'm eating. Maybe on off days I'll make some spaghetti or something.

Doesn’t matter the amount. You stil hsve to weigh it out to match the macros of the carb intake for the day anyways.. might need less pasta than rice right
It seems less. Almost double the carbs for the same amount.

Good point on needing less, so it might not be as noticeable.

I'll learn as I go.

Pasta is a good option but I typically wouldn’t recommend it as a staple in your diet for years on end. Emulsifiers used in pasta can absolutely nuke your gut microbiome in the long run especially when you’re eating in bodybuilding quantities. Save it for when you’re in a pinch.
Thanks for the advice! Might be a good substitute at the end of the day if I haven't met my carb goal.

You can use pasta, plenty of people do.
I find rice digesting amazingly, cream of rice, basmati rice, rice cereal, all the rice possible.

If you just eat 90 grams carbs in rice 4x a day, have your pre intra post be heavy carb like 75/50/150 or whatever you like for example you should hit a high carb intake with ease and little fat coming from the carbs and just up the rice portions if you need more. Shitty eating all that rice I’m not going to say it would be my preference but if you switch your mind set to eating for fuel only and just watch tv and mindlessly stuff your face I find that helps lol
I like raisins and honey on my cream of rice, makes it tasty and adds carbs that hit your blood fast
