What deca protocal can I use? Knee arthritis.

I’ve thought about using low dose for joint pain have a vial of medistar lol so just been thinking about it for 10 years now wonder if the vial is still good

I plan on using HCG on and between cycles as long as I'm using AAS so no need to add test for me.

I've tried glucosamine for years, even in large doses and no positive effects. Collagen has helped more than anything else so far. I've been doing some research as of late on hyaluronic acid and that seems like it's more likely to help with the synovial fluid aspect I'm concerned with rather than joint repair or anti-inflamation.

I'm in my early 30s.
Yeah HA is supposed to be really good. I added that and collagen in when I was trying to heal my shoulders. Not sure if it helped, but what really made a difference was when I added in deca and about 6 weeks later things started to improve quickly. Too bad I pushed my bicep tendon too quickly lifting 400 lbs in a weird position and tore it. I bet if I didn’t lift that bbq, I would not have tore it and it would have healed. Not just from the deca, but the rehab and time.
I have taken glucosamine/ chroditin/msm since I was 20 every day.

My joints are great, the tendons in my shoulders not so happy. Did it help, who in the hell knows, but my thought is, if you eat a diet that covers all bases, then it’s likely not needed, but at worst you make expensive pee. But is the diet always on par, likely not. Also you can’t take glucosamine alone, you need all three items for it to work properly.

I have taken vits and sumplements likely 90% of the time for decades.

What I should have done in hindsight was listen to the pain in my shoulders instead of ignoring it, and allowed time off to heal instead of thinking I was a tough guy and could push thru.

Rick, would you mind sharing the brand of collagen you are using. Please & thnk you sir

Is there any concensus here on what the minimum dose for joint lubrication is while using nandrolone on TRT?
I'm also wondering this. I have a script for deca at 120mg weekly indefinitely but I've found by week 10 I feel much worse off. With deca's long half life that's more like 250mg+ over months.

Long story short I dropped my dose by half to 60mg per week and found this to be perfect along side 200mg Test E. I do blood work and echo every 4 months given the workup and potential cardiac toxicity, but I'm finding 60mg has been perfect. For long term, probably under 100mg, sure add more for blasts.

Thats my anecdotal experience even my doctor doesn't know the true answer the studies are pretty outdated and it's not often utilized any more so it's all based on the "how do you feel?" approach. Ask yourself that honestly lol.

If you want to dive deep into what is studied on nandrolone, read up the aids muscle wasting dosages and studies.

From a Canadian doctor?

Like almost all anabolics, info is limited and while I agree with a lot of the info said that Deca does not 'heal' or it was on Deca that I was injured - due the vast increase in strength you can get from this compound, I still question does it actually heal anything.
I don't have the answer but it is supposed to help heal muscle quicker, don't think anyone would disagree, including burns. It is also supposed to increase collagen synthesis/protein retention. Much in the same manner as I have read with Var. I have yet to find the results of the study I put on the forum regarding using it after surgery (believe it was double blind) to see if it helped people heal. It is used in sarcopenia and is a go to with aids patients, but for many due to its kidney/liver issues is not sustainable.
I don't have the answer, but always felt a low dosage seemed to help get through injuries quickly much the same was @Sorbate mentioned. The comment has been made in literature it has been used in people with low testosterone for pain, but like @libo said I believe it is along side testosterone. If Coolrick can use HCG to keep his natural test up, even better. I find any anabolic without test, kills my natural test but I have not used large amounts of HCG or anything else instead of TRT.
@libo - this has been discussed forever. I think you take propecia/proscar - have you noticed increased hair shedding due to the mixture? It is said it does and while it is a completely vain question; I think we all want to look a little better.

50mg/week nandrolone should do the job, It's a good place to start, deca once a week or npp split into 2-3 shots a week , npp used to come in 25 and 50 mg/ml.. I find 50mg a week helps a lot.

Around 50mg does seem to come up alot. I'm just wondering if someone has used say 25mg per week and seen anything. Either way it's hopeful because I can easily fit that in with my hCG monotherapy protocol I have going without adding more testosterone and making it feel like it's anything close to being "on". But I'd rather not jump to that first if you know what I mean. When I'm off I want to be off.

I think for now I'll try the hyaluronic acid and I've got some on the way from iherb. I'll try and remember to add the collagen I have to my shakes too lol.

I use 18-20mg npp 2x a week , helps quite a bit for me.

I know this is off topic but even i have to admit my approach is unorthodox in today's times. Even back in the days of PCT it would be unorthodox to say "well I'll just use the hCG the whole time even when off" as a 4 week PCT was the norm. But people were really out of touch with how long it takes to fully recover back then. They still are if I'm being honest.

To me it doesn't really make sense to essentially castrate myself chemically with exogenous testosterone when I have two functioning testicles lol. I started to view sex hormones separate from their anabolic attributes and that helped me decide on this approach. hCG let's my body work like normal (for the most part) while the anabolics do their thing. And since they don't really interfere with each other I now have two systems running side by side with each other instead of fighting each other. At least that's how I visualize it in my head.

I sort of view hCG like using a trickle charger on a battery. It's s much easier to keep something working than to get it working from a dead stop.

Yes. I have another thread on that subject Deca script in Canada you can find more info there.

@CoolRick I think 25mg would still provide some relief and benefits in the long run absolutely. Would be a neat experiment to find the lowest effective dose because that part isn't studied.
But yet again may be highly individual dependant.

Id go with bpc157 or natural products not deca. Its harmful to the body and should only be used for the anabolic properties. Not to mention it probably only masks your isses and might just make it worse over time.

As of 60mg I am still on Finestride 1.25mg and my hair has been coming in thicker once again yay.

The science that is done on it shows a conversion to DHN with nandrolone, and in higher doses attempting to block DHT on nandrolone creates a negative cascade that will often worsen the hair follicle. I wouldn't take finestride above 100mg nandrolone for fear of worse off thinning, but so far at 60mg my experiment with fin + red light + minoxidil topical has been making slow but steady progress. Really all one can ask for in his late 30s without a transplant haha

If I end up trying something like this I'll be sure to come back and let everyone know how it goes.

This time around I'll try the HA as I'll probably be back on cycle in 5-6 weeks. If that doesn't work and my joints dry out again I'll try out 25mg/ week of deca post cycle. I can't see the harm in using a dose that low.

Ok just a little update.

It's been 2 weeks post cycle so the NPP is pretty much gone and I've been using 200mg of hyaluronic acid since my last injection and my joints still feel good.

I'm not sure how long it takes for the nandrolone joint lubrication effects to go away after taking it but so far so good. I'll give another update in 2-3 weeks.

Cheers.

When I run lower dose of deca I don't notice any change in my joints when I come off normally. Now when I ran 600 mg or 300 mg a week, my joints would ache when i came off after about 3 weeks, but at 50-150 mg I am fine. But when I run low dose I do it for 3 months, or until I get tired of my dick not functioning perfectly.

Now I've been off gh for a week now and that I have noticed that my joints have dried out a bit. I am hoping for a rebound next week. Not going back on gh until my blood sugar in the morning drops. Its fine the rest of the day, but I was averaging 6.2 in the morning and that was bothering me. Going to reduce dose and inject in the morning and no carbs for 4 hours after injection when I restart.

Interesting. Any ideas as to why it's so drastic of a difference when using a higher dose vs lower?

I found fasted glucose can be tricky. There are times where I've seen mine go up despite skipping carbs for the first meal. I assume because of cortisol. In a lot of cases I was better off just taking my insulin, eating and everything would be ok for the rest of the day.

I train something everyday now and that's helped my fasted glucose be alot more stable. If I'm not doing my usual split I'm doing abs. I didn't think it would make a huge difference until I was going hypo in the night everytime I trained two days in a row as I usually like a day between workouts.
