It would be tough where I am right now, too much hassle lolDepending where you are going, could you not donate blood down there? Not sure if that’s something that you are able to do if you are from another country

Gotcha. I’m not a doctor but you would think they could figure something out by now for hemoglobin like a blood thinner considering the alternative now is to feel like shit until you can start your trt again
My trt doc says donating isn't needed just lots of organ support supplements and antioxidants. I font really trust this so I get my other doc to send me for phlebotomies but he must be getting this info from somewhere. He also might have mentioned blood thinnersGotcha. Hematocrit was .476.Haemoglobin does not make your blood thick, haematocrit does. Haematocrit is the percentage of your blood that comes from red blood cell versus white blood cells and plasma. That is why it can be expressed as 0.52 because it’s 52%.
Some Dt talk ftalk about thick blood and hemoglobin, because haemoglobin and haematocrit typically moved together but in TRT patients or sleep apnoea patients that’s not always true.
PS, 176 is at the top of the range on some charts, and still within range on other charts. What was your hematocrit?

What type of organ support stuff does he recommend to you? I’ve never heard of this before but I would be interested in trying it and seeing if it changed any results for meMy trt doc says donating isn't needed just lots of organ support supplements and antioxidants. I also have severe OSA which doesn’t help the situationHematocrit was .476.
That makes sense your hemoglobin is high normal likely due to the sleep apnea but your hematocrit is WELL within range. It won't hurt to donate (unless you do it too often) but you are not at a blood clot risk with hematocrit of 47%. I definitely would not take a blood thinner with those numbers unless you get that advice from a hematologist.I also have severe OSA which doesn’t help the situation
Ya I haven’t been asked to take a thinner. After my donation it was good to go plus hoping to see how doing daily cialis affects my next test results. Heard it can be beneficial. Currently on 120/week and pin twice a week
Nac. Liver support coq10. I don't know his exact plan because as I said I don't really trust that idea lol I get phlebotomy. The main thing the nurse asks if I'm late for blood is how my pee is and oxygen in the liver. Red blood cells die every 120 days hence the 3 month blood work. What type of organ support stuff does he recommend to you? It's disconcerting, if not downright frustrating, how rigid some doctor are when it comes to considering issues on a patient by patient basis. When I received my emergency phlebotomy I had a phlebotomy scheduled for the following week, but I had been feeling so unwell that I opted to drive an hour and sit in emerg for 10 hours to receive a emergency phlebotomy. The on-call physician requested blood work, and proceeded to argue his position when my results came back with my HCT at 0.51%. My scheduled phlebotomy was at the very same hospital prescribed by a senior physician at that hospital, and in spite of that the on-call physician argued the point. My own physician had discussed this with me, but also recognized that polycythemia (increased concentration of hematocrit and or hemoglobin) is a common side effect of trt. Breathing issues can often exacerbate polycythemia (decreased lung function will trigger an overproduction of red blood cells to carry oxygen). Thanks for posting this.
I was having some poor peripheral blood flow symptoms,
My HCT was only 51, and even before TRT I would run 45/46 so I didn't think it could be related.
I donated blood today and the symptoms disappeared immediately. I feel better overall too.
It's a bell curve not a rectangle, so by definition everyone is going to experience things differently.
what's wrong with you...? Why would you be so careless, knowing you had bloodwork coming up. If you're taking tren, why are you even on TRT - you're clearly not concerned with health. Just yolo your brains out on tren and get huge, stop lying to yourselfBy the way I'm on cut cycle of 300 cyp/300 mast p/ 250 tren e per week all homebrew for 7 weeks now.
Lmao what you mean? So I can't take tren since I'm on trt? Well, my goals are different than yours, if you only want to do trt go ahead do not try to tell me what to do ever again. If you think what we do here is healthy you are naive my friend.what's wrong with you...? Why would you be so careless, knowing you had bloodwork coming up.
