I'm not gonna make a big deal out of it nor am I looking to debate but I disagree.Only test they should be looking at is bioavailable test
I think the first step should be Total Test to determine conversion rate as a base then look at bioavailable. This allows analysis of any present or future concerns with SHBG which can sometimes be addressed if need. This is not to say that you can't do them both at the same time but having that base data can save a ton of guess work and redundant testing if things change later in life with regard to albumin binding or the return of low T symptoms.
Just my understanding and an opinion, others are entitled to and will have a different approach.
