Damn now I’m going to spend all morning watching his videos, lol.
You should. The guy is not only very skilled but a little crazy if I can use that word.
And he is so right about street fighting, I’ve always been small, big guys liked to fight me. I was a really dirty fighter out of need. I didn’t want to blind anyone so I never gouged eyes, bt everything else was fair game. I was great at fighting in high school because of practice. Thank god at my age you don’t need to fight because I am nothing special anymore. You can’t be out of practice for 20+ years and think you still have talent, but I still remember the process and actually love watching vids like this because it takes me back to the past, lol.
When I trained in Kungfu, I pretty much just did it because, my favorite was kick boxing, Thai boxing and Frank would teach us real street fighting. Kung fu is pretty much useless in a street fight. It looks pretty though, lol.
When my grandson gets to the age of being interested, I’m going to find a place that teaches grappling and boxing. I’d love to train for fun again.
Paul Vunak talking at his best.
I have taught my son jiu jitsu...then he said it was not for him so starting boxing with one of my guys. He has only every been picked on once or twice at school and it went really bad for the other kid. A kid that can grapple and throw straight punches is in a league of his own on the playground. (also does not hurt that at 15 he is 6'3 and 171lbs LOL)
Yeah, Sorbs, no such thing as a dirty fight....if things get to that degree where it's a physical confrontation generally I have been pushed way past any tolerable limit and have usually been struck at first(being 6'2"&265 I am not usually fucked with) but when it happens, someone is getting hurt....if I have ever had to fight it's to hurt someone, and that's all so there are no rule I just hurt them, period. And he is so right about street fighting, I’ve always been small, big guys liked to fight me.
