The Exercise That Changed Your Physique Forever

For me, pull-ups completely changed how my upper body looks and feels. At first, I could barely do one, now I can crank out a few sets and my back and arms feel solid. I stick to them 2–3 times a week so I don’t overdo it. I also checked out - their advice and approach feel honest and clear, which made trying new exercises less intimidating.

What’s the one movement that completely transformed your body?

For me, it’s deadlifts. I’ve only been doing them for the last two months, but the changes are already visually noticeable, and my strength has gone through the roof.

I avoided them for years because of lower back pain, but I found a way to modify my form, and now they’ve actually strengthened my back instead of hurting it. At this point, I can’t live without them.

The only issue? I want to do them every single day, but I know that’s probably not the best idea for my body.

What’s the one exercise that changed your physique forever? And if it’s something you love, how often do you actually do it?
Pull-ups, by far.

Curious on what you did for form modification to help avoid excess strain on your lower back?

Over the years on put back squats and regular deadlifts on the back burner because of lower back injuries that would flair up.

I still do hex bar deadlifts, it’s the only way I find i can load the bar without fear.

lol, I eat dinner, take a 30 minute nap, wake up and go lift.

This is what I do on my work days as well. I shoot for 20 minute names and wake up à new man full of energy. Was just talking about this with the ol lady about how I used to laugh at my father for napping after work and now I’m that old man lol

Hacks with slow controlled negatives (usually 2-3 second descent) and really forcing the knees forward during the movement
