Summer cut to lean bulk / recomp

Hey guys new member here. Thought I’d post my log here to get some feedback or recommendations and just for some tracking for myself.

My background I’m 33 and been on doctor prescribed trt since 23. I used to run cycles when I was youmger and have kinda dipped my toes into into a bit of everything doing trial and error ( mainly error ) I’ve had a couple set back with some injuries and have taken some time off the gym for different stages in my life. Around 3 years ago I made a big life change and decided to start taking my health a lot more serious and significantly cut back my drinking and partying as it was getting a bit out of hand. The last three years I’ve been 3/4 times a week at the gym just staying healthy and maintaining with no real goals in mind. Last summer I did a big cut on just trt and Reta. Got down to the leanest I’ve ever been and felt great but I had a crazy busy summer, stood in 4 weddings, and most were a lot of travelling. So I lost a lot of my muscle mass. This year I decided this year was when I was gonna get everything dialed back in.

I started this around 15% and my goal is to get down to 8% and transition into a lean bulk. I want to stay single digits for July and August and still add some lean mass and fill out a bit more.

Stats:
6’4”
218lbs
15 ish bf
250p/120f/300c 3300 cals
Have a slew of ancillaries/supplements and peptides.

May 1st ( all short esters except keep my trt dose of 140mg of test c and add additional with prop and I pin daily )

5iu hgh nightly
4mg Reta weekly ( I have no problem hitting my macros and the food noise is gone at this dosage )
750iu hcg weekly
250 test
315 mast
140 tren

May 14th
Tren ace up to 210

As of may 30th I’m prob around 10-11% so I’m going to keep macros the same for another 2 weeks as I’m still dropping BF % fairly steady. Pic attached is may 29th ( I don’t take pictures very well ) and don’t have any when I started but the fat loss has been very noticeable so far.

I’m going to pull bloods this week and see where I’m sitting also in that regard.

My plan going forward is in about two weeks I’m going to add either winny and/or var if I get down to the single digits which I should be by then and run that for 6-8 weeks and see where I end up.

The winny will get you looking better than the var but the winny will have you feeling shittier in terms of getting too tight and injury prone. Muscle cramps and pulled muscles especially after week 4. If you go high doses you may even rip a tendon if your training is too intense.
The var will have a fuller/cleaner look rather hard n tight but you wont have the injury issues or toxicity issues either.
Another option is proviron if you just want a tighter harder look without toxicity at all. Not as hard and full as winstrol but its still nice with zero issues.

I’ve never tried proviron. I just had the winny and var already and was looking to clean up the drawer. Never ran winny before would even doing 25mg still be pretty harsh ?

I mean if it does wreak havoc I guess I can drop it and should clear pretty quick.

25mg winstrol isnt very high and youll likely be fine. 50, 75, 100 per day depending on the individual is when things get bad.
Winstrol is best used for a specific short term event like a show, photoshoot, short vacay look. 2-4 weeks leading up to it.
You can always drop it once you get the feeling that the next muscle cramp may cause an injury lol.
At 25 you would probably be fine for 6 weeks tbh. Results would be better at 50 for 4 weeks though.
Whatever you do is up to you, but just be aware of how your body is reacting and adjust accordingly. Just trying to save you an injury. It gets to a point with winstrol that the dumbest small movements tweak a muscle, its gets fuckin silly.

in my experience, if you add var with proviron,and drop the winny, youll feel less toxic,the proviron frees up space for everything else to work better,libido goes through the roof,your never drained of energy,and if you had injurys before,that winny just keeps the drying effect going and its no good for anything your tying to heal up in time,im just saying, proviron gets a bad rep,untill you pair it with the right things

Yea It was just something I had in my inventory and thought I’ve never used it before so may as well toss it when I’m actually at a spot it would be noticeable. But I don’t feel like being that dryed out. I’ll keep it for. The future when maybe I have some npp or something.

i think if you have the extra cash to spend sure,it was always in my cycles somewheres,i find it rings out more vasularity,it does something lol just not as much as others,it really handles estrogen conversion well,i used to be on my labs and bloods more than i am now,this is why i wanted to be a member of a good canadian forum,seems more positive than i remember it,i was thinking of running npp too, i love my EQ tho,we will see

Yea my next bulk is gonna be 750 test 350eq and prob 250-350 deca. Might push that up to 1000 test 500eq but we will see. I get bad acid reflux on cycle all the time so this cycle I’m trying some panto and gas x to see if it keeps it at bay.
 
Update: no scale at work to track weight so not sure where I’m at.
The past weekwas 175 min of zone 2 cardio. Averages 11500 steps for the week and cals at 3250 average.
I’m doing an old school bro split but legs twice a week. Chest/back/legs/shoulders/arms/legs

I head back home tomorrow for two weeks off. Won’t hit the gym as much but I think I might drop calories to 3100. My hunger has increased quite a bit the last two days but I’ve had some really good workouts and on nights sleep has been shitty averaging 6hrs of sleep in a 24hr period. That will get me by but looking forward to getting home to get back on a normal schedule.

Never used winny for this reason. @DeeKnows is a wise member you should listen to. Being a conservative person, if you are getting to single digits which I think you have a long way to go, but have no doubt you can do it (congrats on your progress); why add in more strain on the body?
You are already on a decent dose of HGH, reta, and anabolics, and you mentioned peptides - what peptides are you taking on top of the reta?

Oxandrolone is hard on many people's liver and impacts your kidneys over time - it is metabolized by your kidneys which is very unique to steroids. My point is this is a turtle sport, you are making steady progress, now you want to add in more when you are already taking a decent dose of tren. I am no tren expert as I can't use 30 mg a week or I will be in jail, hurt someone, or be in the ER my self.

If you plan to keep doing this, you are already on a major boost with the HGH, reta to stay lean if you push more food (your diet is the most important factor, but obviously you have to train well and rest enough). You are adding in a potential liver/kidney toxic compound after you just gave the organs a good workout for a period of 2 months - how long is this cycle for?

Your cycle is nothing compared to what some take, but I always think about longevity and progress. Keep the orals in the drawer and use them later on. Many are fine with orals and no one can argue with their quick results and I will disagree with anyone that causing liver, kidney, lipid dysfunction can be stopped pretty quickly if caused by an oral. It may for a few runs, but damage is cumulative.

If it isn't obvious I am conservative, but when I see people making good progress and want to keep adding in another compound or higher dosages such as increasing your tren on May 14th - I wonder why? If you can get 3-4 months of progress and progress is progress - doesn't matter if it is strength, leaning out, or adding lean muscle why push it and leave it for another time.

Deeknows is correct about his assessment on stanozolol and Oxandrolone, and in many ways I love oxandrolone but my body hates it and my liver enzymes go through the roof and my lipids get worse. Hence I rely on less harsh injectables. Just another train of thought - you should do what you think is right. Have you ever had an abdominal ultrasound - a cheaper diagnostic imaging technique you can get done by the medical system if you mention a few symptoms and concerns or just pay for it yourself. This is a great tool to have in your medical file, to compare to later if you develop fatty liver, kidney issues, or most of the organ that can be impacted (except the heart) - you must have different medical diagnostics.

What supplements are you taking to add in as much protection to your body as possible?

Hey man. No I agree with you. I’m not adding in the winstrol. I’m just gonna keep dieting keep dosages where they are at. I haven’t touched an oral in over ten years i kind of want to try them near the end if im down to 8% just to see what i actually look like on them when im in a bf percentage where they would really shine.

Cycle will go probably only 8 weeks with the tren and the test and mast I will continue another 8 if my bloods stay in good shape. I’ve never lasted over a week with tren and I think it’s because i added the mast this time that’s how I’ve had no issues. I’m actually shocked it’s worked.

I don’t take any other peptides except ghkcu I cycle in regularly throughout the year. I have some tb/bpc dsip for sleep if needed and prostomax if the mast starts messing with my prostate ( pissing at night time couple times ) I do remember that happened once before while on it. mainly only stuff if I have any sides or injuries.

Supplements I normally buy all mine seperate but this cycle and first time ever I decided to try pro muscle labs I got there hemo thin / liver values / kidney stack / blood prefer relief / proper cholesterol. These have a good balance of everything listed here I normally buy plus a bit more :

I have rouvostati exetimibe telmisartan all stocked up but I’ve never taken them before. Just keep them incase I need them.

I have not had an ultrasound. I am in between doctors as changing over from another province but after this cycle I am going to request Echocardiogram / Calcium score / cancer screening / coronary cta / carotid intima-media thickness. I’ll pay for them if need be. I want to get a good picture of everything because I’m at that age anyways where i do want to keep doing this but not if im in a good spot to do it. I can request an ultrasound of my abdomen also at the same time.
