Review the last movie you watched

No sure if it was mentioned but the wale with Brendan Fraser is amazing. It's a drama but his acting is on point. Maybe watched it on high estrogen lol.

Yeah that one was pretty good. Interesting. I think a big part of that movie is just seeing Brendan Fraser trying to make a comeback. A comeback under much tougher situation. Different than him back in the 90's but he's trying. Sounds like he had some rough situations in his life and got derailed. It's like in the movie you're kind of pulling for the character but you're really also pulling for the actor.

I watched the Tom Cruise movie. Edge of tomorrow - Die another day. I didn't really know what to expect going in, but I enjoyed it. It has Emily blunt too who is pretty hot (although I hear not very nice in real life, oh well) but I always enjoy Tom Cruise, as I'm sure I mentioned somewhere in here before. I thought the story kept you interested. Even with a bit of a sci Fi edge and sometimes some complicated or confusing story arcs. Overall entertaining. I'd give it say a 7 out of 10 maybe 7.5.

I also just watched Stephen King’s new horror piece “The Monkey” . Was surprisingly good for what the story line was based on. Just that ridiculous shock gore type of stuff i can never get enough of it. Something about watching somebody’s head explode and when they use actual movie make up and effects instead of CGI really gets me

Havoc - not sure if mentioned. Sort of marvel comic character for Tom Hardy but entertaining and well to be blunt - violent. Enjoyed it and would recommend it if you like that sort of movie.
Hit 3 separate cardio PR’s finishing this movie. I think the violence was of epic proportions. Absolute recommend it. For the right audience of course.

This was a really good movie. Anyone who likes horrors should check it out. I dont like horror as much these days its always cheesy senseless gore but this one was pretty good id give it a 7.5 or even 8 out of 10, and that says a lot because im extremly picky and dont fall for average bullshit.

Agreed. Watched it with the wife on the weekend, we both really enjoyed it. It's got an original premise, which is rare these days.

Might not be the last movie I watched but the last I loved and have rewatched is Longlegs.

A young FBI agent on the case trying to find a decades long uncaptured murderer, played by Nicholas Cage in absolutely diabolical makeup.

It has that Indie feel, dark, creepy and brooding. A slow burn but not so much that it gets boring.
At 1hr 41 minutes - which seems rare these days to be this short - it gets the story told and done before there’s time to start dragging.

Nicholas Cage is on top form with his performance. Although some say they wish he had more screentime

The lead girl is great in it too though. She seems a little autistic (the character not the actress) so she has some quirks that make her endearing to watch.

I’ll admit it’s not a movie for everyone and it was a little different from what I was expecting. But I absolutely loved it and after writing this it makes me want to watch it again.

House of Dynamite. A really good realistic movie about how the USA would deal with being attacked by a nuclear warhead. I really enjoyed it id give it an 8.5/10.
