First sign of tenderness and then start at .5 and take that every other day and adjust when needed?
I've read quite a bit and yeah most people just go by feel.
I suppose that's what this forum is for too, I can always get everything to have on hand and quickly come here for advice if I get any symptoms.
At the first sign of tenderness, I go 1mg ED for a week then cut back to 1mg EOD.
"at the first sign of tenderness"... indicates that your estrogen is already pretty damn high, so by taking a high dose immediately, you get it under control, and then cut back to your regular dose. Anastrozole takes a bit to stabilize your blood levels. I'll explain using random numbers for an example, none of these are the actual scientific numbers, i don't know them off hand, but it helps to explain.
Say Arim builds up in your blood at like... 10% per day, so after 10 days of taking 1 pill per day your at 100% blood levels / 1mg.
Your already experiencing tenderness so taking a heavy dose the first week, you'd take 1mg for 7 days.
DAY 1 your stable at .1mg
DAY 2 your stable at .2
DAY 3 your at .3mg and so on.
So b taking a higher dose at first, it can build up in your blood faster and then you can drop down to your normal dose, because you may still experience high estrogen and gyno may still build up in your nipples if you just start taking .5mg EOD at the first sign of gyno, you could be 1-2 weeks before your blood levels stabilize since your only taking it EOD and you don't want to allow the estrogen to continue to wreak havoc on your nipples for two more weeks. It is essentially the same theory as frontloading your anabolics in your cycle, and some people will disagree with this method just like they would with frontloading.
As ABMONKEY said, the general consemsus with anti estrogens is to staret slow, and I'd suggest that if your going to run it from the beginning, but if you would rather wait until you start feeling effects, then your going to want to get it unbder control as fast as you can, which usually only takes a few days
Hope that helps a little.
