My TRT experience.

So a bit of history.

Went about 8 years ago for blood work with the dr and my test came back in the low normal range.

I was having all the normal symptoms but dr told me to eat better, and exercise more. I had very hard time dropping any weight.

Went to two other drs same results.

Somewhere in this time I stumbled across CJM. Bought UGL and ran my first cycle in about 20 years. Since then I’ve been blasting and cruising. Usually cruising on about 250 of test e.

My old GP retired and now have a new dr. After a few tests he became a bit worried about my BP (always high normal) and my hemocrit being high. So I came clean. He wrote me a script for 150 a week and let me do my own injections.

So I’ve running this now for about 8 weeks and recently gave blood and had blood work done and I’m going to see the dr on Wednesday to see where we are at. As a side note I’ve increased cardio and BP has been more inline.

It’s actually been really great dealing with this new dr as he’s much more open minded. He explained to me about possible long term effects but agreed about quality of life now versus possible long term effects.

I was on 100mg/week. My tests showed basically middle of the road levels. As far as I'm concerned, that's fine for an average male that doesn't carry more muscle or lift heavy weights. But for people who do lift and are bigger than the average male, I don't feel it's enough to just be at 'normal' levels. I feel it should at least be in the high normal range.

Agree as well as someone who trains intensely I think should have higher levels, my original drs always feel back on the idea that mine was normal but low, which would be great if I was 160lbs not 260.

Hopefully you get to where I am with my TRT....doc scripts me for a year and then when it’s time to renew I get BW to make sure everything is still looking the way it should.

Took a couple years, but a endo wrote me a prescription with refills that will last for almost 2 years.

I use a slin pin and put it into my pecs/tri's/shoulders etc.. Any muscle with not much fat on it. So technically I think I'm injected into muscle still.

I read with sub-q you can't inject more then 0.5-0.8 mls depending on which info your reading. So I use slin pin snd go into muscle with 1ml

Basically what I’ve started doing. Two shots for week.

Free test was 20.8. Pretty good at only 150. Tried to get a bump but no luck.

That's niiiice TOG! That's almost twice what I got (11) on 100MG a week, 50mg twice a week with a low SHGB of 15.
Doc upped me to 120mg and I'm now doing 17mg DAILY (17x7=119), in order to maximize it. Be interesting to see the results of the extra 20mg and the daily shots, hope it's close to your 21!

Yeah I’m pretty happy with that. Not going to push anymore. I’ve got another blood test in Nov so hopefully that will be the last for about 6 months. Got a lot of stuff in my stash and want to run a blast.

Guess it will be next spring

at 100mg a week I was 21ish.. I know I should be happy about that, but I still have symptoms that so far doctors can't figure out.. So Im wondering if I should try 200mg a week and see if my symptoms go away

My dose could easily get bumped up but my RBC and hematocrit are keeping my dose lower. Having said that I wish when I was much younger I did a full panel for baseline numbers. Maybe for me my RBC and hematocrit were always on the higher side.

If I went permanently above 110mg per week my RBC would be on the higher side. That said I am testing if more frequent pins impacts RBC as well as E2

I personally started out at 100mgs e2w....then bumped to 200 now it's at 300mgs e2w, I take shots on Monday and draw blood the next Monday and my levels are high norm range. Honestly e2w compared to weekly...I dont notice much difference at all.

Are you donating blood all the time?

I have been doing mine sub q once per week at 100mg/week and feeling fine. Maybe last day or two feeling low but 6 days after dose measured 24nmol. Last week found some 1"slin needles so now going slightly IM I guess. Doctor maki g me test again next week just to be sure on point. Hope after that she leaves me alone for a bit. Been TRT dose since last Nov and I am ready to blast a bit. Going to use suspension I guess to get it in and out quick.
