Tyson looked pretty jacked for a 58 year old. I would guess he was on something.
I’ve done mushrooms and it didn’t have me chewing on gloves.
It was Kevin Levrone at the MR. Olympia all over again. Glad I did stay up to watch it.
I doubt Tyson was on anything and I sure don't think he was on mind altering drugs either. I think he is a genetically gifted man who trained hard for this fight. There is a huge difference from hitting a heavy bag or focus gloved for a minute vs. sparring with a real fighter who hits back and moves.
On page 1 I said there is no time or place for a guy who is almost 60, who may have been the best ever in his prime, to be fighting someone who is in their prime. Even if the other guy isn't well liked or isn't the best fighter. The results were obvious before the fight started and I hate writing it as I am a Tyson fan.
This wasn't fake - Tyson tried and did a few signature moves where it appears he jumps and hits at the same time (in round 1) but he had no legs after round 1. He could still move in round 2 but you could see him turning into a heavy bag. His bombs weren't bombs anymore albeit I am sure if he landed the right one perfectly fresh he would knock someone out. Clearly he had something wrong with one of his legs and he stood there because he was too tired to move and his reaction time was what you would expect. He would get hit and if he was 27, he would have blocked it, took it, and knocked Jake out for a joke.
Glad he made a mint but this wasn't a wise decision from the beginning. I'm just glad he didn't get knocked down and hurt.
Take the gloves off, go in the street, and you could be late 50's fighting a 20 year old, and as far as I'm concerned there is no dirty fighting. There is a winner and a loser and do what it takes to be the one who doesn't go to the ER.

I was driving down the 401 at 130KPH watching the fight and it worked perfect
but I would rather not have see Tyson fight
he made a ton of money but did not put on any sort of a show
it was sad to watch
in all honesty the doctors and commisioner were wrong to approve it and sanction it. Risk of serious injury was very high..

I think the 14 oz gloves was picked for that reason, not to save Jake Paul, but more for Tyson.

As much as I would like to say NO and I was suffering the entire fight watching Mike, Jake was a gentleman and show real respect to Mike. He really held back when Mike was out of air.

Grudgingly - Jake was all class as you said @Rolls roydz but then at the very end Logan fucked it up, horribly IMO.
