Yep. I need to be able to kick someone my height in the head. With that I need to be able to deliver a few different shots on various angles on the centre line and also need a simple Muay Thai Round kick. Flexibility also comes into play with traps as I need basic flexibility in my shoulders for Bong Sau/Tan Sau deflections as well as elbow destructions and supported elbow defenses.
On the ground I need to be able to use bridging motions to slide out of predicaments I would much rather not be in. Also the ability to open my hips per se is invaluable to retaining a certain amount of mobilty. Also my jaws need to be able to nibble quite well when all is lost.
All of which I am slowly losing as I age. So it goes.
