The suicide rate is horrendous for males at three times the rate for females. One of the factors is that guys seem to be better at completing the deed than women. It has been discussed for years in my field but there seems to be little headway. One of the problems we discovered in an agency I was involved in was that guys hold things in and don't seek help. That is not taking into account the Vets. Don't get me going on the cracks in that system.
