Home gym flooring

I've just ordered a Maxum X3 to upgrade my home gym.

It won't fit in my current space, which has very crappy rubber tile, so I have a chance to lay down some better flooring first. I know a lot of guys go with horse stall mats, but this is going into my house and I worry about the smell.

Can anyone recommend some quality 1/2" - 3/4" rubber flooring that isn't super expensive?

If you're in Vancouver/lower mainland i would suggest Summit Rubber in Abby or Armour Rubber in Burnaby. I got the rolls that were 1/2". They are 4 feet wide and have a few different options for length. My wifes a trainer so lots of people coming/going and the flooring is in good condition still. Good luck.

Despite my misleading username, I'm living in Ontario now. Appreciate the reply though!

Do you need the rubber flooring? I thought I would regret not doing flooring but for the cost vs spending it on more equipment i went with adding more equipment and dont regret not having it one bit.

I have a finished basement with laminate floors, not bare concrete, so I need a decent barrier to put my equipment on.

Yes but it's in China so 5wks over the pond. Available in a variety of widths and durometers. Strongly suggest a high durometer for longevity with multiple hits. Most cost effective is to order a full roll. I have used a few in my days in manufacturing. These guys can definitely get you what you need at a good price...

How's the shipping from China? Those rolls aren't exactly lightweight

It's only a few hundred to land it in Canada plus shipping to your location. DM me if you want further details because where you want it delivered is important. Vancouver dirt cheap, bum fuck no where in the NWT mega dollars.

When I redid the basement I used car[et squares, that way if I damaged one I could replace it. 10 years no damaged one yet. But I don’t toss dumbells
