Does anyone use or have used DHEA along with TRT?

I was in the US in April and picked up some. I have been taking since April and I honestly don't find any benifts from it.

Maybe because I bought one of the cheaper brands from Amazon?

If it’s anything like tribulus I would imagine you need to take a shitload more than the bottle says.

I have a script for it but have not filled it. My TRT Dr says that it will help with Cortisol levels and memory as we age. I asked if it will drive up test or estrogen, she said maybe a little but negligible if you are already shut down from TRT. Dosage is 25 to 50mg per day.

i took DHEA 50mg/day for years.
save it for when you're off cycle...it's just another compound to get your HPTA back in balance after a blast.

any medical professional who iterates administration of prohormones simply needs more schooling.

trt low dose testosterome is one issue.

upp'ing your dosage beyond script is a totally different issue. unfortunately, it's taken the medical community 40+ years to reconcile and negotiate ideologies related to hormone replacement therapy.

and, for guys who raise the argument that women have been given 'the pill' for years - look at the dstructive effects that's had on women for over half a century... look at the increases of breast cancer rates, increases in female myocardial infarction incidences, and lower cenception rates in 'developed nations'. Prescribing 'the pill' wasn't everything that people thought it'd be. Rates of osteporosis, dementia, stroke, and other disorders are also on the rise. One has to wonder: if it's been identified that there's a link between tren use now and dementia in later life, that what imbalances would increased estrogen or progesterone play.

Hands-down: it's better to have a board like #canadianbrawn here to discuss these issues than to pretend that there is no risk. And for new members to realize that no question is stupid is a big deal. The guys i know who were cycling smart in the 1980's are still healthy, active and fit. Meanwhile, the knuckleheads who paid no attention to health are, if not burnt-out, in many cases they are debilitated.

so, @millenium girl it's too bad your doctor didn't help you out back then, but...really: how much help could they REALLY have been?

@ClearWater -- why didn't he prescribe test instead of DHEA? Me being post menopausal he should have known that would help me more. The guy is a jerk anyway, he just looked at the bloodwork results and decided what I needed. He did prescribe GH but I stopped after a couple of months.
