Contest for the "McGregor vs Cerrone Jan 18th @ UFC 246"

Conor looked healthy, but it was pretty obvious how it was going to end. Ufc is becoming to predictable. Was a clear set up, had this chat with another member a while back and we both pointed these things out. You knew right from the start something fishy was going on. Donald clearly knew he was throwing the fight.
It was predictable.A set up?The perfect opponent for a come back, yes. Why would Cerrone throw a fight when a victory and a rematch would make him twice as much?

The Ufc is no different then the NBA or even the NFL. It all comes down to money. Conor is the biggest money draw in UFC history, No one will ever compare. You could see it in their body language and the way even Cerrone was acting in interviews. The way he responded to certain questions you just knew something was up. And its actually pretty common knowledge that fighters will throw a fight just for a bigger pay check. For those who dont understand this can simply just do there own research and you will see.

Dana in an interview years back even admitted some fights are often paid more to say, keep the fight standing, or let the fight get taken the ground. Fixing this fight and having Conor win, sets things up big time, think about whats to come next. People are now excited and will glady pay to see Conor again and again. There is alot more that can be said and im sure @Cheapshot can chime in on this one too. The Ufc will profit big time. Conor's next fight will be even bigger and more exciting for everyone.

Now im sure not every single fight is fixed, probably just the ones the UFC can use to there advantage to profit from.

Sure you could see something in Cerrone,he was scared.Fighting scared means you will lose.I think there is more steering done by not making fights than trying to coerce a fighter into losing.Offering small money might be one way of discouraging a fighter signing on the dotted line. There is some scheming sure.Put paying a fighter to throw a fight when a win could catapult him up the standings?Doubt it .
