Bullshit blood work

I am not a doctor, so my opinion is not remotely as valuable as a GP or specialist...
Side track here but Imma have to argue this point.
Titles don't mean shit when you get down to it. As you know GR I have met with some of the dumbest endo's you can imagine, hospital heads of the Endocrinology department in four of biggest cities in the province. An example for those that haven't heard those stories I had to explain and chart half lives for one of them.

So based on the fact that you are a smart feller and idjits are capable of earning a doctoral degree IMO that sentence as a definitive statement is not valid.

Thank You For Your Attention To This Matter!

hey brother I think you meant to respond to godofgains I was just wondering if the 2 are similar as I didn’t have CK in my bloodwork. I’ve never been anywhere close to 300 or had fatty liver 😂
I was speaking to Godofgains and figured he would know I was and you would know I was not addressing you, but explaining that creatinine and creatine kinase are not the same. It is on his thread and should have put @ to make sure it was clear.

No, they are 2 different markers to measure 2 different things.

But ideally you still would want to take CK test as well.

Also, make sure you rest 3 days before your blood work.

1-2 days isn't enough.

A week maybe even better of no pinning or taking anything

If things are elevated after taking 3 days to a week off, then that's more serious concern.

You will find out what works for you once you see how your body results are from numerous blood works.

Wherhere 3 days off works for you or a week off from training, ped, etc to get a accurate representation of what's going on inside your body.

I had a lot of iron in my blood, and elevated hematocrit, so I donated blood recently and feel better.

went and got my test levels checked and the results came back with this. How are y’all getting your free/ total levels when my shit said it’s maxed out and can’t calculate it.
Should I use the paid blood work for steroid users online instead? My doctor also wouldn’t put e2 on the requisition which kind of pissed me off.
Lifelabs in BC is like this. Anyone have an alternative for BC blood testers?

Damn that’s a good price, idk what the deal is with BC but I’m looking on lifelabs and all the test without a referral is like 150$ for just testosterone levels, not including E2 (which is wha I’m more concerned about monitoring) and I can’t seem to even find one for E2 on there
You’re gonna be paying the same regardless. In BC it’s $80.

Teletest is now in BC but the problem with teletest is you are paying $80 just to get the lab req. that’s fine, but theyll give you 2 reqs, one for hematology and other markers, which is marked as “billed to MSP”, and a 2nd seperate req for hormones which is marked as “billed to patient”. This is absolutely retarded because when you go to do your lab, the front desk bills you for Test, Estrogen, SHBG, and other hormones.

I use Tia health. Just tell them you want to do a check up on your bloods and then tell them exactly what you want tested. Make sure you tell them that you will go over labs with your family doctor or with another doctor so they don’t get pesky with follow ups. If you ask for Free T there is a good chance when you go to pay at LifeLabs they will bill you $80 as Free T is not covered by MSP but sometimes if your lucky you can get away with not paying if they don’t notice. But everything else, estrogen, prolactin, shbg, etc will be covered, as your lab req will be marked as “Bill to MSP”.

I will say it is pointless to get Free T checked with LifeLabs if you’re blasting because of the limit. If you’re over 40-45nmol you’re free T is gonna be high
