Bullshit blood work

@Vitko - that is your creatinine which is usually a test doctors use with other blood work to determine your kidney function. People with more muscle mass, are in contact sports and train hard can also have a higher than normal creatinine number. CK is a subjective number that requires taking in multiple factors with other tests to determine the cause, especially if that high (10,000 plus).

I am sure you know with your size as I recall reading you were over 300 lbs, and lift weights will contribute to a higher number, but so will damage to specific organs. If I recall from the past you had fatty liver, but you said two specialists said not to worry about it which I don't follow. Fatty liver can lead to liver cancer and cirrhosis if not halted or healed.
What did the doctor say when they read your CK being over 10,000 as that is not normal for anyone. Usually this kind of number would indicate Rabdomyolysis and not just muscle damage from training - normally a doctor would consider this a serious concern.

I am not a doctor, so my opinion is not remotely as valuable as a GP or specialist, but I would be demanding further testing.
hey brother I think you meant to respond to godofgains I was just wondering if the 2 are similar as I didn’t have CK in my bloodwork. I’ve never been anywhere close to 300 or had fatty liver 😂

Side track here but Imma have to argue this point.
Titles don't mean shit when you get down to it. As you know GR I have met with some of the dumbest endo's you can imagine, hospital heads of the Endocrinology department in four of biggest cities in the province. An example for those that haven't heard those stories I had to explain and chart half lives for one of them.

So based on the fact that you are a smart feller and idjits are capable of earning a doctoral degree IMO that sentence as a definitive statement is not valid.

Thank You For Your Attention To This Matter!

I was speaking to Godofgains and figured he would know I was and you would know I was not addressing you, but explaining that creatinine and creatine kinase are not the same. It is on his thread and should have put @ to make sure it was clear.

No, they are 2 different markers to measure 2 different things.

But ideally you still would want to take CK test as well.

Also, make sure you rest 3 days before your blood work.

1-2 days isn't enough.

A week maybe even better of no pinning or taking anything

If things are elevated after taking 3 days to a week off, then that's more serious concern.

You will find out what works for you once you see how your body results are from numerous blood works.

Wherhere 3 days off works for you or a week off from training, ped, etc to get a accurate representation of what's going on inside your body.

I had a lot of iron in my blood, and elevated hematocrit, so I donated blood recently and feel better.

went and got my test levels checked and the results came back with this. How are y’all getting your free/ total levels when my shit said it’s maxed out and can’t calculate it.
Should I use the paid blood work for steroid users online instead? My doctor also wouldn’t put e2 on the requisition which kind of pissed me off.
Lifelabs in BC is like this. Anyone have an alternative for BC blood testers?
