20yr old with low T 10nmol/l

so went to appointment and basically nothing happened. he didn't check for any pituitary tumor or anything else regarding puberty or tanner stages. just ordered another blood test

Did he measure your testicles while he was doing the physical? He ordered blood work which is a good thing.

no he didnt, he only checked my thyroid.
I went to a urologist at a walk in clinic today pretending I have erectile dysfunction and he ordered testosterone and lh and fsh and he checked my testicles but didnt measure them. but he was doubtful I was having problems as he said it is probably all in my head. he prescribed me levitra but it is too expensive so I didnt get the pills. wasnt gonna use them anyways, just wanted to get them so I can pretend I took them. so checking the testicles means that I have no testicle tumor right.

I'm confused, which is getting to be pretty normal for me these days. Do you now have three docs? Endo, urologist (booo) and a GP looking into your bloodwork? If that is what is transpiring, I would be upset as well and I'm not a kid. Try to have patience and hopefully one of your Docs will glean some good info from this barrage of tests.
In the interim, keep working out hard, diet intelligently, sleep a lot-tons of sleep- because you are a kid. Stay on the Board because someone may have answers to guide you in another direction. As frustrating as I imagine this to be, you have a heck of a lot of living and training ahead of you to look forward to. Don't give up, man.

ty for kind words. technically I have 3 docs as you said, but GP is not really actively looking into anything, she just referred me to endo.
now the urologist is at a walkin clinic. this walkin clinic can refer you to any specialist you want and they have them in-house. he told me to do the blood test even though I told him I have already did it but he said he needs recent results.
now one extra thing is that today I also went to a popeyes supplement store to ask if they knew a good doctor and they said that there are no doctors who will prescribe test. but the guy also told me one interesting thing to check my gut health at a naturopath and recommended taking probiotics and fiber. which I started taking both today

Right now @hussein you need to develop the most difficult thing for a youngin to develop- patience. Life will eventually fall into place.

well it doesn't look like the endo will do much more. unless my testosterone comes back at like 5nmol/l. so idk what to be patient for
btw when the urologist checked my testicles, does that fully negate any testicle tumors?

Don't get ahead of yourself, Hussein. The more you delve into the "what if's" before your tests come back, will add to more apprehension and decrease your ability to work on patience. You may add more illnesses than there are symptoms.
Urologists check testes for various reasons and tumours would only be one of them. If you weren't sent for an ultrasound, you could more or less rule them out, though.
Fire me a PM if you wish.

I am hoping that I can get fixed and not be on TRT at 20 yrs old. so after these blood tests, I tried arimidex and 150mcg t4 synthroid and the arimidex gave me a bit more energy at end of day while t4 did nothing. I also took b12 and got my results above the range and im taking vit D daily 5000IU
I looked at your blood work and it doesn't look like you have any major problems, i am kindof confused why you are panicking about having to be on TRT. Your test is still in the normal range and so are all your other hormones. The only thing that was slightly elevated was your reverse t3. I do not know a lot about reverse t3, but i do know that they test it to rule out any diesease that is associated with thyroid hormone metabolism. I read online that this could be slightly elevated in people who are starving, were you on your low calorie diet or taking the t4 when you did this test? i don't think the dr even looked into it as its just slightly elevated. how tall are you and what do you weigh?

your test is low normal, its not optimal, so i do understand why you do not feel the greatest. Have you tried getting yourself into the best physical shape? do you workout regularly and do a lot of weight being exercises or cardio? do you have a healthy diet? not just a diet where you don't eat lots of junk food, but do you get high quality proteins, do you meal prep so that you know exactly what you are eating and are you making sure that you are feeding your body exactly what it needs to perform at its best? are you getting all of your minerals and vitamins and essential fatty acids on a daily basis? do you take vit d3? do you drink lots of water are you well hydrated? If all your tests come back and the dr's tell u that there is nothing wrong with you I would recommend you spend the next year optimizing your health and then see how your body responds before you start any kind of TRT. I have been a high level athlete my entire life and I was natural for the first 11 years and all men and women who are highly competitive athletes have very high sex hormone levels, especially testosterone. Exercise and diet really help that naturally. At 20 years old your body is in its prime, you should be able to train for 3 hours a day and recover np. I did it, I used to train 2 to 3 times a day and about 3 hours a day sometimes 4. My rest days were 40 min runs. I was like superwomen in my 20's. I could train for 2 to 3 hours and I was a full time student and i worked part time. If i could do it you can too.

Your the first person i have met in my life who is a student with no stress, how do you do it, lol, im kidding, yes your C reactive protein is normal but you are going to have some stress in your life due to school and well this low test issues is obviously stressing you, but its good that your "stress hormone" is normal.

My advice to you is don't panic and freak out because your test is not normal high, i agree with Bagua do follow up with the dr and do get blood work done and do ask questions and do pay attention to all symptoms and issues you are having, but do listen to the dr and do realize that from just looking at the numbers on your blood work in the pictures you have attached the dr may come back and say there is nothing wrong with you and at that point I would recommend you get yourself into the best shape of your life physically via exercise and food and then do your blood work again. If you still come back in the low normal range then you need to decide if you want to take TRT or not.

update; did these blood tests. booked brain MRI, and have a follow up appointment with urologist, and 2 endocrinologists. the probiotic did nothing, but the fiber made me feel better digestion but also didn't lose weight

Wow your case is weird. Interested to see what the Dr's say. Your FSH is at the lower and so is your test so it looks like your body is not even giving u any signals to produce more test. Its kind of happy where its at.

How is your vitamin d3 levels?

Also do u exercise at all? Play sports or go to the gym?

yes, I have been going to gym for a year now. I have tried multivitamin, vit d3 5000IU, vit B12 1500mcg for 3 months. nothing changed as shown by those updates results

yes my case is weird, cuz the body is not signaling for high testosterone. I'm thinking it could be weird delayed puberty or some neuron stuff that there is probably no way to fix

my willy and height never changed since I was 14yrs old, I was increasing in weight gradually through the years tho. I wasn't shoving tonnes of cakes and Doritos but I also didn't have a great diet throughout those years which is normal for teenagers. I am not saying I should have been skinny on my diet, but I am also not saying that I should have gained that much weight.

update:
started my own TRT on feb1 and did last shot on Feb13. on Feb 15, the urologist saw my blood test and said, its low for my age and he wants me to repeat the test again and he wants to consult his colleague. he also asked me if I am ok with taking testosterone, I said yes.

been going to many other walkins and family doctors to find one that can give me trt. but most of them referred me to endo. seems like they will only give trt if my test is like below 5.

also I did blood test on Feb24, and i slept shit and ate shit for 2 days (I gained 5lbs) to make the result low. so my best hope is the urologist for now. most of my endo appointments are a month away.

how long do you guys think I need to wait to retest my levels so I can be below the range?

It looks like you are shut down from running gear. No lh or fsh.
You try using hcg yet?
I bet they may want to check why you stimulating hormones are so low.

no hcg, the plan was to try to get low level of T. I wanna wait more time and do another blood test to get lower level. its just a random doctor who gave me this blood test, so I dont need to follow up or anything.

The low fsh, and lh is going to look fishy. I bet they will want to try you on hcg first while they figure out why that’s low.
Did you do a single prop injection, or something else to try to drop your test levels?

I did 3 injections of test e. the plan was to do my own trt until i found a doctor who will give it to me. my natural test level naturally is 10nmol/l. btw is hcg expensive? this blood test was from a random doctor. I dont need to go back to him. I can just say that its mistake of blood test, since my test level is basically exactly the same and I had done many blood test before with LH and FSH

Was the lh and fsh higher on those tests?
And you are low for a 20 year old.
Instead of playing around to force a low test, just use an endo and complain about being tired, weak, lifeless, no sex drive. He should treat the symptoms.
Question? Why did you stop doing your own trt? I personally didn’t feel like screwing around, so I just did my own. Is it because you didn’t have a good line on a decent lab?
