CYCLE PLEASE ADVICE

I've done plenty of research so am well aware of the positive effects, the reason I tried it was for those actually not for fatloss. It fucked up my stomach badly for 5-6 months. I was really worried for a while that it was permanent, I'd say it's 90%+ back to where I was before I used it now. I probably knee jerk replied to your post because of my personal experience and it's finality, apologies for the abruptness.

Yes serious, acute(?) sides seem rare although we don't have any way of accurately knowing how rare.
Did you go to a doctor? I have never heard of anyone suffering from something like this before.

I have heard of several people having negative experiences due to reta. A friend of mine used the same Reta batches as me , started with just 1 mg and it severely messed him up. I was shocked. But in various enhancement groups I’ve come across stories of people being unable to tolerate reta for various reasons. Some switch to tirz and for whatever reason that’s ok, others just seem unable to take a glp.

“everyone should take reta” is a bold statement. I’m aware of all the benefits. But writing a blanket prescription like that is ridiculous. Know what else helps with insulin sensitivity? Not eating like an ass. Doing cardio. Lifting. Anabolics themself.

If you’re doing this all properly you don’t need reta. Your seeing coaches come forth after a few years of experimenting with off season glp use saying they think their clients grew less due to low dose reta.

6 months of gut issues is extreme. That guy shouldn’t ever touch a glp again

I had a similar reaction to Redz post.. I honeslty don't think everyone should be on it.. Great drug for type 2 diabetics and people who need a lot of weight to loos, people who have metabolism issues due to age/hormones etc.. It's got lots of good benefits for sure, but I don;t think it should be a blanket statment "everyone should be on it", in my opinion no.

Idk I tolerate reta without any issues. Ofc saying everyone should be on it is a very uninformed generalization.

Yep, Gastroparesis - delayed stomach emptying without any blockage is apparently my issue. It's part of what makes Reta do what it do for you. I can only tell you about my personal painful experience and a handful of second hand stories I have heard and believe but If you google "Gastroparesis Retatrutide" their are pages of results. I've not read through those recently but I bet beyond the scientific results the reddit results are anecdotal observations.

EDIT - btw just looked at my calendar log, I tried it twice only took it for 3 and then 5 weeks and never more than 1mg

A few years ago when I was prediabetic I had a GP ask me if I wanted to try ozempic... I figured I'd give it a whirl just to see what it did to my blood sugar.. I did read all the sides (short and long) before trying and before I even started I sort of knew it wasn't something I'd want to use long term.. At the most, I thought maybe use it long enough to shed enough fat to hopefully get out of prediabetes... Either way, I believe I may have experienced the delayed stomach emptying... I know I felt like I was going to throw up after eating and I felt fuller than I thought I should have.

I did not however get these sides on reta.. I had a pretty smooth experience with it.

Sounds brutal man. Hope you recovered.

Unfortunately there seem to be a low percentage of people that get some rotten side effects. I get only positive effects even at 6mg/week. I like the skin sensitivity so I can’t even complain about that.
I’ve just seen and heard so many great things about this stuff on top of my own experience.

Have you tried Tirz? Some people that can’t take Reta are good with that.

Unless you have some sort of rare disease yes absolutely. I think you should research the positive effects of Reta a bit more. It is far more than a weight loss drug.
I had to throw my reta in the trash , the ahedonia and tiredness was way too much, sure blunting appetite in the beginning was a cool experience and i’m glad i got to experience it . But i also believe in the importance of hunger , look what it does to bears and animals in the wild. I would rather have a sense of reward and desire for things and get to enjoy them when i allow my self to do so apposed to just blunting that all together. Then the whole slow digestion, for performance it just ends up being annoying and unpractical. Trying to time food for training purposes and you’re left with food in your bloated belly taking too long to digest.

There is cons.

Yeah doesn’t really slow my digestion too much maybe a bit but I empty out every morning still. Also the hunger part is not very significant on Reta. If constant eating or a binge eater Reta isn’t very helpful there most use semi or Tirz for those things.

Many of the Reta side effects can be worked out for most but require tweaking diet, fibre, very healthy diet, electrolytes, extra hydration. I also take zinc, magnesium and many other supplements too.

I operate on a near flawless diet which is likely why Reta has no negative side effects for me.

The ahedonia alone was enough for me to not even consider reta as a viable solution. Maybe for someone with an addictive personality I could see this being a benefit. I naturally have a low appetite as it is so I guess on this stuff I'd just starve lol. Also the thought of bowel obstruction scares the hell out of me with all the stories my mom told me over the years during her time as a nurse.

Personally I would not touch any of these new GLP1, drugs unless it was my last resort.

Thanks for sharing your experience and welcome to CB 🙂

Reta is great for anyone period. Theres a reason it’s the most successful weight loss drug ever. There are more success stories with Reta than anything else. I would say this is perfect case to use it. I plan on staying on for good.

I agree with this. Reta used responsibly is super effective and has very little negatives, if any. My bro lost 40lbs in 3 months and he went up to a maximum of 4mg per week.

Nope, as mentioned I only tried Reta cause it was a gift and for the other potential benefits not fatloss. Tirz has that same side effect listed as well as many of the same other ones plus even a few more iirc so no way imma take that chance. Case closed on all this stuff for me personally.

Regardless of which GLP-1/2/3 is being used, it’s the appetite suppression that does the heavy lifting and is 90% of the battle IMHO.

If your metabolism is f’d then using Tirz or Reta is a better choice. In the end it still comes down to calories in/out. If you still eat like a complete A-hole, it won’t do much and the A-hole is like “it didn’t work for me” or they have to take huge doses. Then the side effects spiral out of control.

Everyone tolerates it so differently, I’ve never gotten a single side off it but I’m also immune to it now. Up to 8mg no affects or appetite suppression besides my rhr through the roof.

Call me what you want I don’t care my next cut I’m just going to use bam15 tirz tren, easiest way to go about it
