Self Medicating TRT

My levels pre trt were 350 ish now on 140mg a week I'm at around 650 so 125mg every two weeks would have me at my natural normal levels lol wtf is wrong with these doctors lol

Why would they be so stingy with the doses? Wouldn't a silly dose of 125 cyp every two weeks just keep you at female levels anyway?
I don't know if he is still figuring it out, my guess is his protocol is so obsolete and haven't read any new papers on trt administration in the last 25 years lol.

Anyway, I'm just making sure I'm within his parameters before blood work. I messed up my timing last time I took bloods it came out at 52 nmol, he brushed it off and instructed me to take the test 1 week after injection.

I'll just follow whatever he says as long as my hematology gets checked quarterly I'm good.

Yea your smart to work with him properly.

I week after seems long. My labs had me do it 72-76 hrs after last injection. You would think by day 7 your levels would be so low.

My Urologist is not updated on these things, I actually tried to talk discuss about it but had to pull back when he said he never heard about the advantages of frequent injections.

I know it's not the best but it's the only option I have for now that won't cost me an arm and leg. At least I have someone who orders blood test every 3 months. It's better than nothing.

I coax my gp for another blood test for my other health markers, it just sucks not being able to get blood work and see the damage being done during a blast if I'm doing one.

You can use telehealth systems like maple etc to request bloodwork. If I were in your shoes I would quit with my Gp and do my own thing and source what you need privately. You won’t get the same question and answers from a telehealth but it seems like your Gp is as knowledgeable as they would be and people on here are very experienced and would look at your labs if you posted them. Just my 0.2 cents worth.

Thanks. I'm backing down on every scheduled test, been on a year now no problem so far except stopping it last March due to high Hemoglobin and hematocrit for the first time.
You need to donate blood 3 times a year. Especially during a blast.

Nope. I check my hemocrit with a machine I bought and I've been fine.
I was wondering if it would regulate itself after coming off cycle and upping the cardio. That's good though man that machine looks pretty handy

My dr's have always had me draw blood on the morning of my weekly injection (before I injected) so they got an idea how low my test levels get.

Which is weird because if you want anti depressants, anxiety meds, adhd meds etc they almost push them on you. I think testosterone will soon catch up and start getting pushed more. If it pays for big pharma it's the future but one side theory is testosterone doesn't keep people sick or cause a lot of side effects that need meds so maybe it's against big pharmas goal. You can't sell pills to healthy people
Agree with THIS theory 100%

@Jerbear, this is VERY similar to my numbers.
Need to get another set of labs done now that I’m at week 4 of Anavar….
Curious- how long after starting did you see 650?
BTW- I was 349 with NO bioavilable T on the first round of BW…..when using a telehealth provider that will remain unnamed, I got 349 again and was told sorry- you ain’t below 300 so F-you, I asked about bioavilable versus total and they never even responded.
On to doing it myself…..

why un-named? Potentially could save somebody from some grief

I couldn’t agree more @gondar1
Still learning the ropes re: what’s considered kosher and what’s not.
It was Jack Health.
Horrible response time on emails.
Lousy doctors that don’t communicate.
Meds I ordered came in packaging that looked like it had fallen off the back of a truck at highway speed.

I think I tried it for 3 months and then went for blood work to see how it was going,

At my starting low I was 179 and still couldn’t get approved for TRT through a conventional doctor. Went with OnMen and was approved. Stayed with on men for over 2 ish years and finally started doing my own thing. At 120/week my level is now around 1137. I have AI on hand for when I start to feel my levels creeping up and pop 1/4 tab twice a week for 1-2 weeks and then stop again. Usually every 3-4 months I need to take it
