How much is too much? I'm new to all this and relatively naive still. I see people running a lot of different compounds at pretty high doses.

At what point do you know what is doing what and if that dosage is necessary?
 
depends how big you are and how experienced you are, how you react to drugs etc
but I think going over a gram of a compound unless you’re 230+ won’t be very beneficial
 
Now that im getting old, my views have changed alot. I now think that if your not gunning to be something in the bodybuilding world then high doses are never necessary. Ive run some pretty stupid blasts in the past and it really didnt get me any further then lower ones
 
I feel like when you use the big doses you play your cards to early. After that you always have to in order to grow. Same with guys using tren on first few cycles. Wtf are you gonna use next? I was lucky to be on the forums early and took the advice of elders. I still use moderate doses and always grow

SO many guys use more gear to make up for poor diet, sleep, recovery, proper work out, lack of lifting hard etc..

A healthier, cheaper and better way is to perfect all other factors aside from your gear, then run a modest cycle.

There was a time when I am confident I had dialed in EVERYTHING when I ran 600mg of prop. It was homemade so I know the dose was accurate. That cycle blew my mind, but in realialty my gains were everything else I was doing right along with the test.
 
Diminishing returns can vary person to person and to figure that out one needs to experiment to see what works best for them. As mentioned a slow progression will accomplish this.
 
That's kinda where I'm at with my age and goals I'm going the less is more thing.

You have to try and make mistakes to learn what will work for you and what will not .
 
And boy I made alot of mistakes when I started and I'm not too proud to admit it
 
use as little as you can get away with e.g. , 400 -500 mg test/week really make your diet do the building, your just creating an environment for growth, not forcing it. If you have to use superstar amounts to grow now, what are you going to need in 10 years? Just my 2cents
