Worldwide beauty Standards - Post Carefully!

Well that first part was an eye opener, I don't think that matters too much to me personally, I'm pretty stuck on a certain type (or two) of features but what you are saying makes sense.
You nailed it about the 10's, I actually wrote a whole nother paragraph about beauty vs sexyiness in my last post but deleted it. You summed it better!
Interestingly although I can narrow it down to a certain type/s i still can't really say I have a definitive "type". As far as genuine attraction goes it's more a vibe than a type.

What can I say? I love em all 😅

I went back to your OP to see what you meant by "classic" beauty standards but I find it difficult to go beyond basic things like symmetry, no deformities and what not and not start getting into features that tend to cluster around different ethnicities. The latter being largely personal preference and highly subjective.

**Edit** I was just driving just now and suddenly got an idea of what you might be talking about but I'll let you respond before I say

interested in what you were about to say, not sure what you were wanting me to respond to? My definition of classic?
Keeping in mind me steering this to be about faces only I guess it would start with feminine above all then maybe add petit, sparkly (lol), a touch of sensual, hard not to throw my own bias' in there when trying to discuss this. Realizing through this discussion how much this is based on what stirred me internally before I even had hair on my nuts, on that note an example, I think a face like that with any skin color or hairstyle or whatever would be in the classic category, no matter what "type" she was, barbie, tatted up, farm girl etc-

That's pretty close to what I had in mind in regards to what the lowest common denominator is as it pertains to the individual. I've been circling it in my posts without even realizing that I had the answer to your actual question (I think).
talking about faces, not race, not culture, not skin color and definitely not bodytype.
This is the line from your OP that got me thinking beyond the face itself. My line about genuine attraction being more of a "vibe" rather than a physical attribute. Interestingly you post a picture of Liz Taylor, who has features that I think are easily the most captivating (dark hair and blue eyes). BUT! The features alone aren't the thing we are talking about since like you said, this is regardless of race, culture, skin colour and therefore not specific to certain genetic traits.

So I've arrived at what I think you're trying to explain even if you haven't arrived at the same conclusion yet and it's that "je ne sais quoi" quality that that picture of Liz Taylor depicts perfectly. Are the eyes half closed or open? Is she smiling or not? It might sound weird but it's more of picking up on a "vibe" or feeling the woman is giving off via her emotional state than the physical features themselves. Interestingly it's something I cultivate in myself. If you look carefully many attractive/ famous men have this quality too (I think of James Bond actors)

Je ne sais quoi entails that it's the unexplainable. IMO it's because we're trying to convey a feeling translated to use with words that's where things get lost in talking specific attributes.

Tldr; I know exactly (even if our definitions don't align) what you're talking about, and I agree it's the standard, I just wouldn't call it a western standard.

I'm pretty sure I butchered my explanation, but it's hard to articulate let alone get to the heart of. One could say that it's only really known to those who know it in themselves 🥠😅

All in all very interesting conversation!
