What Holds You Back from achieving your goals ?

Curious? I get curious about all kinds of things and then i go learn about them.
Id say im not very greedy if anything.
I am curious as well, but I used to be greedy as fuck and traded my time for money no problem.
You know what I learned, it makes it easier to pay bills, but I am not any happier. Actually now I am more paranoid about spending money then when I didn't have much.
My wife thinks (well complains) the money in investments is pretend money, like we don't have it, but I remind her that I may want to retire one day and have no pension (she only works like 6 hours a week, just to get out of the house). I don't think I can do this job like I do at 70, lol.

Numbers on a computer screen is pretend money. If you had 100000 in the or 1M youd likely still be living the same way. How much is enough? Evryone gets more money then upgrades thier debt and lifestyle then needs more. The richest in the world still need more. To each thier own though.
I get the retirement part though. With such high rates of actual inflation the amount you will need is not even known. So people work until they die or are almost dead most of the time now anuway. Its sad. The old meme of the guy running after a stick holding money in front of him until death is amazing.

Glad you realized money isnt happiness.

Kids today don’t have the same curiosity in things. To many easy answer to explain everything.

Friends of mines son who is five I think told me there’s no Santa as he looked it up on google.
I get you. Lol, google is everything nowadays. Technology has already gone too far imo. By the time these kids see thier first pussy in real life theyve watched 1000+ hours of pornhub!

I used to spend more when younger. I spend less now and have no debts. And I do live the same off of 100,000 and I would a few million.

I take way more time off work now and have more staff, my profits are less, but I have more time.

Oh money can make you happier when you don’t have your worry about it, but it won’t force you to be happy.

Professionally I’m killing it. Physically I’m in the best shape of my life. Mentally, I’m a liquor piglet and Peruvian marching powder enthusiast. I just get bored with life sometimes, and wind up drinking like fish, and getting my cob turned into Mexican street corn by this Latina I should really stay away from.

I think natural curiosity has really disappeared. Things need to happen right away and answer can be found almost too quickly.
It's definitely on the way out and for those reasons. An example - any sort of formal schooling that requires essay type answers? This and the following generations of graduates are gonna be the most useless irl ever.

If you have that drive for curiosity to the point of discontentment then I highly suggest getting a Bachelors of Science in something online. A Bachelors degree in a lot of countries like England are only 16 courses compared to 44 and it is under $15,000.cad. Many of their degrees are a BSc which is what we should have here because you can't do much of anything with an arts degree even if it is in psychology.

You could help people by getting into social work with a BSc in something related like psychology r, be paid $90 an hour (current job posting for remote work) and receive a government pension. I wish I did but I wasn't very well advised when I was younger.

That's just an example. You could study whatever interests you most. You could live and work anywhere too.

For me, it’s about trying to give 100% and be the best at everything I try and love, but I love too many different things
.
One week, I’m hyper-focused on one thing, and it makes me feel bad because I can’t give 100% to everything else I want to do. I really wish we had more than 24 hours in a day, haha
