I know this is a bit old, but I do Olympic weightlifting recreationally nowadays after 10+ years of powerlifting style training with a few powerlifting competitions locally/provincially under my belt.
I normally just do test-e at a cruise dose of 250mg/week. I already built more muscle than is usually needed or wanted when powerlifting. The hardest part for me at first was work capacity. I was already able to squat 400+ for example, but practicing the explosive movements was fairly tiring. I'd imagine equipoise would help with this, though I haven't taken that specific compound. Honestly though, lots of GPP/conditioning work, daily mobility, and technique practice has done far more for me results wise than drugs. Test-e at 250 is already significantly higher than the average male anyways by about triple if I'm remembering this correctly.
Right now I'm doing a fat loss cycle, 1500-2000 calories/day with maybe ~200g protein and have some GLPs coming in the mail to see what they're like. They are certainly not necessary though either.
Doing daily overhead squats and mobility has done far more for me than any drug would. I might change my mind once I hit a 225 snatch/315 C&J and I start pushing higher than that, but so far that hasn't happened yet, so no need.
