My doctors visit went well and I am now prescribed 225mg/week Test Cyp. 200mg had me at 24.1 (range 8.4-28.5). Doctor said due to my symptoms he would like to get me right up to the 28 range. I lucked out hard with this doctor. I have to follow up in 2 months so I’m just going to cut until then so I can get on a blast after it’s all dialled in. He told me again not to take any other androgens for now.
TRT just increased to 225mg/week

Holy, 225! That is by far the highest weekly script I've ever seen.
What were your free test levels? Shbg? E2?
Are you perscribed arimidex too?
No ai at this point we’ll see in 2 months after that blood work, I’d prefer not to.
I know you just can't go by numbers but anybody should be happy sitting at 24.1 for trt. If you're having symptoms then it's most likely other things that are affecting how you feel and not strictly testosterone. Doesn't sound like the smartest doctor in my opinion but to each their own.

There's nothing wrong with being at the top end of the range if it means a better quality of life for you.
Top of the range is definitly nice just be aware of way more side effects at that dose. Im sure your well experienced but thats my only conearn. How often to dobate blood, risk of iron depletion, high estrogen, high blood pressure etc..if that's all mitigated then frig ya give er lol
Nice job senior! Stay the course, stay within the limits and voila 2.25cc/wk script test. Good for you man. Once on yearly tests blasts are the limit!! UGL's are still ok for now but in a couple of years they won't if this keeps up. I save my script and use homebrew.

They started me out at 125mg/week
Is that pretty standard? I figured starting out low is normal and then check levels and go up from there, but I kind of thought between 150-200mg a week would be what most people are actually taking?

It varies by doctor. I started at 200mg but many doctors are more conservative. I was open about my steroid use and I’m a pretty big guy too. I think most people fall in the 100-150mg range.
