Tried tyrosine tongiht pre work out

I tried 3 grams before I lifted tongiht.. I took it about 40 mins before I lifted with my large coffee and 3 gram L Carnitine that I always take..

tyrosine is supposed to help with focus when used as a pre workout.. I believe I felt more focussed?? I would more describe it as having more motivation/focus at the end of my workout when I'm usually having to push myself harder to lift to failure.. I didn't need to push myself, I just felt like I wanted to keep going hard..

I also started HITT cardio this week after taking about 5 months off from it... On Sunday when I did my first HTT session it was rough lol... Tongiht I did my hitt cardio after I did chest/shoudlers/triceps... and it was easier and I did one more set than Sunday..

I was more sweaty than usual when I wass lifting and it took longer at home to unwind, cool down and stop sweating.. I usually get this way when I have a really good workout.


Anyways else try it?

Never tried it but just curious what do you do for Hitt?
 
Isn't tyrosine mainly used for converting to l dopa and niacin? Oh wait, no it's tryptophan that was used to create niacin, besides serotonin.

I suppose tyrosine does everything l dopa does with less side effects, one of them would be reduced tyrosine hydroxylase, right? You just need much higher doses.
 
thought I'd update..

I really like this supplement for pre workout. I've been using it steady, but once in awhile I'll forget to take it and I really feel like there is a difference in my workout..
