Higher risk involved? Either the method works and the product makes it in to the intended destination or it doesn’t.

The supplier doesn’t cover the cost of seized goods, the customer does. There’s only one party that loses money. Supplier makes the same amount of money whether or not the product actually makes it to the customer.

I’m just thinking of the bigger picture here. Yes of course it happened and it is what it is, but you would think that in order to prevent it from happening again, you would change your methods to something obviously more reliable.

And when the product gets seized and the receiver who's bringing in product in sufficient bulk to re-distribute to the entire country gets raided by the CBSA and RCMP, there's a very high level of risk involved in that. And when a customer is buying domestic, the cost of those seizures is built-in to the price. IE: 3 packs of 100 get sent, 1 pack gets seized. The cost of the 2 packs that made it is 33% higher.

So yes, when an international seller has a domestic shipping option, you will find the price to be significantly higher because of the added risk and cost involved. But for the buyer, when purchasing domestic you know you are getting your product with 100% certainty and it won't be a CBSA officer banging down your door and searching your house. So to some, that added cost is worth while.

The risk/odds of it being seized are the same regardless of who the receiver is.

But yes I agree, the domestic supplier builds in the cost of a seizure.

Not really. You get an end user ordering a couple small packages once or twice a year vs a re-shipper receiving larger heavier packages once or twice a week, there's bound to be a higher seizure rate. Also the consequences of the seizure are significantly larger both from a financial standpoint and also a legal trouble standpoint.

Anyways, my whole point was that domestic options are always more expensive but the safety is worth the added cost.
 
Mine apparently is one shipment that he says will still make it. Let's see, my tracking from Canada Post says on its way to Canada since the 19th. I'll update it I get it, but with the hassles I'm not sure if it's worth ever ordering again when there are other generic sources that are equal in purity. Let's see it this arrives. I'm waiting on 6 packs of the Gold's right now.
