Stacking Retatrutide & Tirzepatide?

Well I have been on retatrutide for 14 weeks and lost 35 pounds. I'm at 6mg per week and thinking about stacking tirzepatide. I will start with re-dosing both peptides to 2.5 mg per week.
Has anyone else tried this stack? We will see what happens.

How much more weight you trying to loose?

ive heard of people doing it with success, Also heard of people adding Cag to reta as it runs in a different pathway.
Have not tried so cant give any advice on it. But tirz killed my appitite way more then reta did, which is why i made the switch to reta.

Dont you want it to kill your appetite? Do you find reta is helping more?

Don’t rush it, you will be losing too much muscle if you do. Unless you are stalled I wouldn’t be adding another compound.
I'm going to use my wife as the guinea pig, no pun intended. Did I type that out? :ROFLMAO:
I will probably go with a low dose of triz only for the other benefits besides weight loss but will try it for a week or two with the reta.

By adding tirz to reta your basically just increasing the glp and gip without raising the glucagon.
This will reduce appetite and also slow digestion even more. So ya, i would start low on tirz

I am running 2mg Reta and 2mg Tirz. Mainly for maintenance and to help keep food noise down. Still leaning out but not expecting any more big changes in weight.

I only wanted to address satiety vs glucagon so hence the choice for Tirz. I was going to switch over to Tirz completely but just don’t want to drop the overall health benefits of Reta. I will most likely just run 4mg of Reta per week.

Nothing wrong with trying it out but make sure the compounds match your goals. I don’t think it will make a difference for total weight lost in the end.

Alright so here's a personal story about mixing retatrutide and tirzepatide.

I was on Reta for around 6 months and eventually it doesn't curb appetite. I worked my way all the way to 10 mg per week. So I tired adding Cagri 1mg, didn't get much appetite suppression from it.

So I switched to tirzepatide, about 5 mg with some overlap. Didn't get much hunger control so I went up to 10 mg.

On retatrutide I had zero side effects. Absolutely zero.

Mixing them both absolutely fucked my stomach and digestion.
  • Extreme stomach pain
  • Shitting all day
  • Overall discomfort
To the point now where I just decided to go off all GLPs and even 3 weeks later my stomach is still really fucked up from it. Luckily I got what I wanted from it. Went from fat as fuck to lean, losing over 70 lbs. I just switched over to a really clean bulk while my stomach gets sorted out.

Like stated you'll get no additional weight loss from adding it. If anything I would just titrate up retatrutide a bit more. But eventually you're going to have to go off or keep increasing until you're forced to go off.

Just some food for thought.

@bc__boy Have you tried the reta / tirz combo ? If you have how is it working?

I've been on reta for coming up to 9 wks - and am steadily increasing the dose - but noticing appetite suppression is waining.

I've done some reading - people stack either Cagril or Tirz- however tirz has the better appetite suppression and works to reduce inflammation.

Cagril also makes people sick- so I wasn't too hot on that.

Read also that people add in very small amounts of Cagril / wk - ie .250-.50mg - and it works.

I'm considering it as I don't want to increase my reta dose significantly

Just wondering if you had any further insight or have tried it ?

I would try reta+cagri first. You keep the benefit of reta + the hunger suppression from the cagri.
Im at that point too. Been on reta for 6 months at 2mg but i cant go up on the dose cause it give me headache all the time if i do
Gonna try it and keep you updated :)

I looked into Cargril but didn't like the nasty side effects that people were reporting - but let us know how you make out with it

The headache could very well be from dehydration and lack of electrolytes.
2mg is such a low dose, it would be worth ramping up your hydration and electrolytes to try and negate that as you bring up the dose.

I get no appetite suppression on lowish doses of reta and im not interested in going high with it.
Im always hungry but i crave less shit food. Also my insulin sensitivity is way better on it.
My cals are and carbs are pretty high and im staying lean. Normally i would be gaining bf and i would be holding water on this many carbs but im not.
Also no sides. Tirz does give me bad constipation plus i look worse on it.
