Sourcing insulin

Is there an easy way to source insulin in Canada? I know you ca technically get it over the counter but from what I’ve heard online most if not all pharmacies will say no or ask you for proof of diabetes or something

Interesting okay I might just go and try, worst case scenario they say no and I move on. What do you ask for at the pharmacy? Do you just ask for a single vial or a kit? I’m not sure how there are sold
If you dont know what to ask for, may I suggest you stay away from it until you at least have a chance to learn about it.
That shit is dangerous, and can very much kill you if you fuck it up.
Be smart and know what you are getting into.

Exactly. Someone’s been reading my diary again.

You might find this funny but Ive actually sourced it from an online pet store. They never asked a single question. Came with ice packs and nicely packaged. Ive also went right into shoppers drug mart and got some . Its pretty easy to obtain .. like @BanditNOLIMIT says be confident and have the right answers and all will be good .

Sorry I might sound dumb asking this but I just want to be prepared, what questions are typically asked and what answers do you give?

if you walk in and ask for a kit, they're going to tell you to take a hike - or at least they should - because you sound like you have no idea what you're doing.

You need to do your research. Knowing what you're looking for should absolutely, no dispute, be the first thing you know when looking up how to use insulin.

What type are you planning to use? When are you dosing it? How frequently? What dose? Do you know what an IU is? Why do you want to use insulin?

Arguably, if you don't know that insulin is OTC in Canada, you've not done enough research to consider using it... Actually, I take that back. It's not arguable. This should be basic knowledge if you're planning to use the compound.

Very few PEDs will kill you if you screw up... This is one of them.

They might ask you about dosing or if you’re using it along side other meds.

The tried and true method is to tell them it’s for your father who’s bed ridden at home. Really puts them on the spot lol.
