Might be sleep apnea. Watch for nightmares, waking up with headache and sore throatI wake up at 530am for work . Normally I get to bed around 11:30 but don’t fall asleep till 12ish. What’s that 5.5 hrs of broken sleep.
I am a very light sleeper and roll around a lot it takes me awhile to fall asleep I’ve tried melatonin and cannabis but doesn’t help much, and I am more tired in the mornings.
I get up to pee 2-3x per night also, DR checked prostate and bloodwork shows it’s fine. So not sure what my issue is. I am always fairly tired.
I figured it out because my wife said I sounded like i was chokingMigh

When I'm working I'm getting 6.5 usually when I was working nights I was getting 4 a day, on my days off I get 8-9. My Cpap helps me big time and now I can't sleep without it.Not A good habit to get into. Who on this board gets less than 8 hrs a night.????
This morning I laid in bed for another 10 minutes just breathing all nice and deep with the machine on.When I'm working I'm getting 6.5 usually when I was working nights I was getting 4 a day, on my days off I get 8-9. My Cpap helps me big time and now I can't sleep without it.
Might be good to wear during cardio too lolThis morning I laid in bed for another 10 minutes just breathing all nice and deep with the machine on.
If I ramped up the pressure you likely could, but the mask would leak like a bastard, lol.Might be good to wear during cardio too lol
You can get a little oxygen tester too, to check your levels in the morning and make sure you got enough through the night. If I ramped up the pressure you likely could, but the mask would leak like a bastard, lol.
See I never did a sleep study or went to a clinic. How I set my machine was to keep increasing the airflow rate until the mask leaked no matter what I did to fix that (apart from making it too tight and uncomfortable to sleep).
Then id ask my wife if I was snoring or making noise and once I started to sleep thru the whole night, I know I had it set.
I paid $100 for the machine off Kijjij. I just didn’t feel like wasting my time, considering the machines now are so easy to set up.
I have one but it doesn’t record or anything, just instant reading, but it was like $25.You can get a little oxygen tester too, to check your levels in the morning and make sure you got enough through the night.
I tried 6 different masks until I found the one I could tolerate the best.I had terrible sleep apnea, when I was 320lbs I had over 80 events per hour. I don't get any at 240-260 but my bulk has me at 270 and I'm getting the occasional event. I'm about to cut some again I don't like the CPAP.
Yes it's a good sleep and if you need it it's life saving therapy. I tried 4 masks the one I use has a piece around the mouth and 2 nose cushions. I find it tolerable but I prefer to not use itI tried 6 different masks until I found the one I could tolerate the best.
The sleep you get makes it worth it.
I use the one with the tube that connects above your head and only the nose portion.Yes it's a good sleep and if you need it it's life saving therapy. I tried 4 masks the one I use has a piece around the mouth and 2 nose cushions. I find it tolerable but I prefer to not use it
I just open my mouth when I sleep with thoseI use the one with the tube that connects above your head and only the nose portion.
You know I did a few times at first, woul dwake up with the air passing thru my mouth, then I got used to it and it hasn’t happened since.I just open my mouth when I sleep with those
Didn't use it long enough maybe. I don't need it if I'm not fat though so it's a good motivation to stay fit.You know I did a few times at first, woul dwake up with the air passing thru my mouth, then I got used to it and it hasn’t happened since.
I don’t like the part that covers my mouth because I find it leaks too much when I sleep and my jaw would move back, the hissing would wake me.
I get up to pee multiple times. Probly just cus we stay hydrated as we train.I wake up at 530am for work . Normally I get to bed around 11:30 but don’t fall asleep till 12ish. What’s that 5.5 hrs of broken sleep.
