Sizing up the validity of any Lab review

Here are a few pointers you can use when your doing your research on any lab.

When you come across a review look at the post count of the person praising or bashing a lab. If they have a low post count its a possible "tell" that at the very least you need to be skeptical about the truthfulness of what they are saying. That does not mean they automatically have an agenda but do not discount the possibility that they do.

If you see a review from someone that has been around a while you then need to take a look at the other posts they have made in the review section. If they are just constantly praising one lab again take that with a grain of salt. That does not mean its not truthful it just means you take their review and add it to all the other reviews you read about that lab and then pull all that knowledge together and form your own opinion.

A sure bad sign is a lab that has no bad reviews. You run across that its a sure sign that the ownership of that board is favouring certain labs over other labs and is censoring reviews.

Here on Canadian Brawn all labs reviews are welcome. But if your going to do a review put thought into the review.

Here in this thread I have a "Suggested Format for posting a lab review"

110% True. Do some research and read between the lines. Lots of people have reasons and motives that are not clear or apparent... so be careful.
