road to lean

I hate mine too so I know the constant self criticism lol. I had to do a lot of mobility work before I could use them properly, day to day construction life they were fine.

I found squats didn't actually grow them and neither did lower reps and heavy weight.

Now I start with mobility work and warming them up good, I might walk backwards or do some light reverse step ups too, lateral leg press single leg or lunges for a warm up and maybe one light set of something that the next exercise targets so if I'm doing belt squat I will do a less intense set of leg curls so some isolation already occured. Then I stick to using hack squat, belt squat, lay down curls for hamstrings. I keep it under 9 sets in total after warmup.

Not sure if that helps you. Pendulum squat is probably great too. I don't know anyone that actually was able to build good legs with squats in person.

Your legs don't look bad at all though and that's not even taking your age into consideration.

Nah, you were at the right drawing board already.

As I mentioned the context in a discussion of this stuff is important. At the level that us meatheads talk about it I'd say DHB is the easiest and least confusing term to use. If I may speak for him what he said was "I used to just put dhb" which I think meant that's what he formerly called it when writing about it.

To be a bit more clear 1-testosterone and DHB are the same thing - 17β-hydroxy-5α-androst-1-en-3-one. M1T/Methyl-1-Testosterone is the oral version. MLB made some prohormones for it famous.
DHT comes into the conversation because DHB/1-Testosterone/dihydroboldenone/δ1-dihydrotestosterone can be derived from both Boldenone/Equipoise and DHT/5α-dihydrotestosterone/stanolone/etc. (holy fuck try to spell some of those without copypasta lol)

For some reason, probably because of how they learned about it, some nerds like to argue about what it should be called. When I was younger and more of a nerd I had/joined a long drawn out internet arguement on a different kind of forum about it. Guys were argueing about what to call it and I being the only one not claiming to be highly educated in such things took the position that it was all the same stuff. The other dudes were all emotional about it and the importance of correct naming, I kept saying "It doesn't matter how it got there, what's in the vial? Call it anything you want that is true"

TLDR - Same shit, lots of different names.
M1T, first thing I ever took and I was about 30ish. I got stronger than shit, blew up like 15 lbs in 3 weeks and felt toxic as fuck, lol.

Don’t know. That was 20 years ago when I used it.
I always thought M-1T was linked to 1-Test and 1-test is known to be a liver toxic injectable and M-1T is known to be a severely liver toxic compound. M-1T is an oral as far as I know - @Sorbate did you use it as an oral. Many labs are making orals into injectables - no idea why if the bioavailability or an oral is good. It does not make it less liver toxic.
Never used it so just info from people who did./what I read.

M1T was so toxic you felt it.

Injectable versions are just as toxic, but one could argue that you'd get more of a bang for your buck because it would get into your muscles, ect, without being degraded by the liver on the first pass.

there is one in my cart.

only place for it is the living room. thats going to be a tough negotiation

6ft of bar stock with large 2inch nuts on the end to sit in the rack, weld on 1 piece of 6ft bar stock with supports for Olympic plates welded to it. Branches off into a shoulder rest. The bar that sits in the rack is your hinge. Those aren't exact measurements btw, please take your own. Then buy some adjustable hack squat platform or make one.

For belt squat you can get the fold down attachments to stand on your power rack (make sure they are high enough) and then buy the belt and just hang plates from it. All you need is something tall to stand on basically.

Degrease, prime and paint to match. Light coats lots of drying time.
