Reta and a random benefit

I searched the forum but haven’t found any mention of this side effect from Reta.

I have a small lipoma on my arm. About 15yrs ago I had a small, pea sized lipoma removed from my forearm. Shortly after the removal, within weeks, a second lipoma which was about TicTac sized began to grow. Slowly but consistently over the last 15yrs it became about the size of a chickpea. Non-cancerous blah blah. Became very obvious, visible in photos etc.

Couple months ago I started a low dose of Reta, 2mg and titrated up to 4mg. Over the last 5months the lipoma has significantly reduced in size, down to its original TicTac size. I have been in a caloric surplus throughout.

Just a random observation and positive side effect of my Reta experience…it may reduce the volume of a lipoma. Only change has been the introduction of low dose Reta.

It kind of make some sense as a lipoma is fat, so the Reta is likely breaking it down to be used as energy.
Yes - sounds true - I read one article titled

Retatrutide melts fat fast but at a cost warn experts

Some people lost alot of weight in the first year or less....

Spoke about how this product increases metabolism - hope it works as well on my gut as it does on the lipoma ....:)

It works. Eat protien as your base and stay hydrated, not just water but electrolytes.

One of the reasons it is the first drug that may be approved for fatty liver disease which can be somewhat benign or deadly. Either way, people who used other GLP-1 agonists (I know Reta is different from the rest) and did not lose weight, still had a significant reduction in liver fat.
This is a huge step in the medical world as the only recommendation by most docs/specialists is a Mediterranean diet. This is fine if you are over weight, but if you aren't NAFLD has no real cause, and your diet is good - essentially you are fucked. If people who abuse drugs / liver toxic ones would be surprised if they had an ultrasound of their liver. I am willing to wager many will have fatty infiltration within a few years, and the hope is if you stop it will stabilize and not turn into cirrhosis. If any organ has been studied the most (as I had NAFLD) from Mono, the liver is it.

It makes sense other fatty deposits would decrease too. When approved, everyone will be asking for these drugs. They are already putting GLP-1 agonists on the 503B bulk list so outsourcing it to mass compounding facilities can't make it. If it can save lives, and is found to have less side effects and put less stress on the medical system - what would the Gov't do - of course, make it harder to get.

Isn't that called an atkins diet ? Puts you in Ketosis all the time ? Not sure if I want that - I thought reta just curbed your apetite and helped you burn fat ?
