Hey friends, interested in getting some guidance on how to interpret theses blood test i had done recently, I finally found a local np that was willing to send me for (most ) of the bloodwork I asked for missing a few like shbg and e2 , prolactin ect)
My family doctor is out for another couple of months and the NP told me straight up. He knows nothing about hormones and does not want to follow me but did fill out the requisition form to the best of his ability ( even though he refused to add estrogen prolactin and shb )
Can anyone on here guid me on how to read theses. What they mean and what I could do until my dr is back in office ?

Some of your numbers are mildly high, I hear what @Redz is saying and hear so many doctors saying you are just 10% above the normal parameters so nothing to worry about. That is a reading at one point in time. 100 mg of testosterone and nothing else should not give you high hemoglobin or hematocrit, or other abnormal numbers. You said you are coming off a blast and I have no idea how much a blast is and how much you may have permanently messed up your system.
Why would your doctor ever fill out a requisition form to pay for the blood results done by a Naturopath. Are you in one of the few Provinces where paid for Naturopathic blood work goes to your permanent medical file? If the doctor filled it out, then all you have to do is take their req form and get it done at a local lab and the Province pays for it. Unless they are permanently closed, you can access your own blood work online now and if you start studying what the numbers mean - make an appointment to discuss with the doctor at a later date.
Most Naturopaths give you a menu and you pick what you want. If you are coming off a blast, why didn't you check your liver or kidney function?

If you want to take a picture of the req form, many here can tell you what you should be getting done every time you have blood work done. Just remove your personal info.

The point behind stating any anomaly should not be ignored - history/experience/and a bit of common sense. If the Naturopath Doc does not your normal blood work numbers, as you may normally have a higher hematocrit number and it is always the same, the reason they have parameters is to identify the potential for things going in the wrong direction. There isn't a blood test that was out of normal parameters, unless I knew why, I wouldn't demand a follow up in 2-3 weeks to see if it is stable, going down, or headed in the wrong direction and is now much worse. Any decent doctor checks out anomalies.
Ex: routine blood work and I felt fine, but my liver enzymes were pretty much all a little high. I was not taking any PED, or partake in any activity that would cause an increase. Doctor, " Just a little off, nothing to worry about." Me - "What if they are headed up and something is wrong with my liver."
Retested in 2 weeks, and they were considerably higher, off to a gastro and determined I had mono that was attacking my liver. It got so bad, it caused mild to medium fatty liver after a few years and I was under the care of that Gastroenterolist for 2 years until they came back normal from experimenting with different supplements.
Apologies for the long answer, but do not ignore anomalies in blood work - we get it done for a reason.
