please fill out this firearms survery made by the government

Except for the Jews....and other perceived enemies as well apparently .Will have to review,I seem to recall that Nazi party membership made it easier to obtain a weapon, there were oodles of grandfathered weapons from WW1 .Small steps....

Everything stems to 1919 and how the Treaty of Versailles had an effect on German gun laws. 1919 had the Regulations on Weapons Ownership which was far reaching and all encompassing. 1920 brought in The Law on the Disarmament of the People. This more or less completed the Treaty of Versailles and also was a hope to allay the fears of a socialist rebellion, much as had happened in Russia. !928 was the final act of the Wiemar Republic when The Law on Firearms and Ammunition was brought in. This one was weird. You would probably enjoy some of the unique aspects.
The German Weapons Act of 1938 was the first Nazi change in gun laws which allowed for major loosening of gun control. The laws to disarm the Jews and unreliable individuals were in place well before the Nazis came into power. In fact they used the strict laws to harass the Jewish and Socialist population.

I don’t know what you’re talking about animal.... I read today that Kanye West dropped a “motherfucker” in the oval and trump is thinking about making him an ambassador.

The world seems A OK to me.

It’s funny how all the crazy books I read as a kid seem to be coming to fruition..... see writings of George Orwell and John Wyndham.

lol... sadly I think its going to get a lot worse before theres a hope it gets better.

This world needs to have something make it "restart" to a more simpler time.

Also don't forget that with Maslow you can go up and down the Hierarchy at various times in life. One thing you may want to look into is how Maslow looked at transcendence and spirituality as the final level of our needs. It was something he was working on at his death.

You hit the nail on the head... Canada does NOT have a gun violence problem. The stats just don't support the idea that we need more gun control.

Your right in that its just a smoke show to say the fed's are doing something about crime... That's all this bs is.

I agree, I don't live in the US, but it seems like they might bring the gun death number down with some more gun control.

if you want my honest opion of how society is now in the state that it is...

First issue
The whole notion and ides of a family has fallen apart. There just isn't very any good familes out there anymore. The kids that come from these broken familes, broken homes, neglect etc are just not mentally healthy individuals.

I am a firm believer in maslow's heirarchy of needs theory. The typical north amercian family does not meet these needs anymore. If those needs aren't meet, its extremly difficultly to grow, develope and mature properly.

And its a cycle.. You come from a home that didn't meet those needs, you just don't develope into an adult that can easily provide those needs for your kids... and the cycle continues.

I am NOT saying it's impossible to raise a good family when mom and dad seperate. I'm NOT saying its impossible to grow up a successful and caring adult if you came from a home that did not provide love, food, shelter, etc..

Kids are truly being raised without love, care and compassion these days.

I'm not sure where you live, but the kids at my grandson school are doted on too much. Parents here spend a lot of time with their kids, I see them walking with them, in the parks and so on.

The second issue is screen time.. Research is starting to show the human brain doesn't not properly devleope from infancy to adult if it is exposed to too much video games, computers etc.. Kids brains are simply not being wired right anymore..

We also watched tv like motherfuckers and I was the generation of video games. They have been around since the 70's. What they wtch isjust different.

Third issue..
The way our world has now evolved is not what humans are adapted too. As the world becomes faster, schools become too forceful with academics, parents are too busy to be at home with kids, kids spend more time away from home during the day because everyone works, no one cooks/cleans/gardens/learns to fix things..... Life is focused on obtaining enough money to have more possessions.. life has become very complex and very driven to succeed and very driven to own more.

Before 1990 dad worked and made enough to own a simple home, a car, a family vacation once a year, moderate clothes/possessions etc.. families played board games.. familes watched TV together, mom cooked/baked, dad did the yard work.. life was simple.. the family values were different. No one shot up schools, no one was commiting suicide every second day...

A lot of people in the 90's were two income homes. I was one of the lucky ones where my mother didn't have to work at least part time. I didn't know too many others that their moms stayed home. You are right about being able to own a home on one income, no way you can do that now with a normal job.

Take a look further back in time..
When people living in 1 and 2 room houses that were hand built, when people HAD to garden, familes had to hunt/fish for food, families had to sew their own clothes, you owned maybe 2 sets of cloths and one pair of shoes.. Back then there was different priorities.. Different values.. It was a time of sink or swim.. It was a time of being with your family, helping your family etc..

Fourth issue
social media.... I can't even get my mind around how much social media has changed the world for the worse. I sincerly think giving everyone a way to have the whole world "look at me!!!" has destroyed us. It's made us self centered.. Its made us feel like we never have enough, never good looking enough, never making enough money.... We are just simply never content with ourselves anymore and we can't handle that.

This here is the biggest issue. People who are not trained to teach or raise your kids are being taught and raised by them. Nothing is controlled on social media. My grandson was telling me he had anxiety because one of his bloggers has it and now he thinks he does. Oh and hes an introvert as well now, lol.
Anyhow we go to Saunders Farm and it Halloween themed and we had gone thru this haunted house with him like 4 times, and refused to go more, well he befriended other teenage girls and then procceded to explain what was going to happen like a tour guide. Yeah, all the signs of anxiety and being an introvert.

Bottom line for me is the reasons behind the way our world is going just seem to be getting worse.

Agree
