PIP pain varies by location and sub q

That happens. Just remember the spot you did it in and don’t pin there again.
99% of the time my shots are great, then once in a blue moon it sucks ass.
Did a delt shot about 3 months ago, and my delt hurt for a week, and I had scar tissue (well something, not a lump or infection) for a long time before I hammered it out with my shock wave machine.
Just part of doing gear.
Edit: Unless you gave yourself an infection. But you will know if you did, it will keep getting worse every day until you can barely bend you knee.
Also where did you pin your thigh? Hopefully high and in the side. If you do it below the 1/2 mark then you will get bad pip.
I fond about 3 fingers down from your hip joint on the outside of your thigh is a great spot.

Yup. Also thigh shots sucks the most compared to delts/ventrogluteal
Take your time when inject subq . Most of Time people do it fast and result to lump or PIP.
Pick somewhere with more fat like your glutes.... ventral glutes and glutes are my go to for both IM and SubQ.
Gave a buddy some GLOW for Christmas, he started off pinning in his stomach and complained of PIP/itching, switched to glutes like I told him and its gone now.

Got in almost the same situation. I usually injecte thé glute 3ml or 1ml delt. However, about a month ago I tried to IM inejct the thigh. Pinned the thigh like a pro. Still walked around like leg day owed me money. It was fucking painful... I coulent even walk..
I vidéotchat with a nurse and she said, I probable hit a nerve and shold have it examened.
Anyway, a week later the pain is gone and have normal use of my leg. I dont think ill be injecting my thigh anysoon.. Or ever again
