I used to hit an Olympic Fitness in Vancouver years ago. Was right on Arbutus street - off of Broadway. We'd work out then hit the Bino's restaurant around the corner on Broadway. Then we'd hit Kits beach after that.

Its not around anymore, but i wonder if there's any relation between the two gyms.

Yeah, i loved it there. Its been knocked down now. I was driving past there this summer, and it doesn't even look the same. I had a hard time even remembering where the gym used to be.

I checked and there's no relation between the two. The owner did used to live in Van. so maybe he stole the name lol.

I am from Vic so if I am in the area I like stopping in for a work out here. They have a nice supplement shop inside too. I do believe Hippy runs it. Yes that is his name lol. Dark colours and some really neat pieces to use. Worth it if you are in the area.

I used to train at gold’s gym in west van when I was in university. Does anyone know if that place it still around? I live in Toronto now. Just wondering.
