NPP Gains

I know there are guys who like to use low dose NPP for joint issues but at what dose do most of you start to see muscle growth? What is the average amount needed before additional tissue is added?

I’ve never tried NPP or Deca in the past and would like to try adding in some NPP at a lower dose to assess how I tolerate it and then possibly titrate up. I’m not after joint relief, my goal is to add some tissue but not throw caution to the wind. Thanks for any help.

There is no exact dose for everyone, but you're doing the right thing by starting at a lower dose and titrating up. I would start with 225-250mg a week or so if you're on a push and work up from there.

I have gone all the way up to 600mg in the past, but found 300-400mg to be where I found the most benefit without all the extra sides. 600mg did not do anything for me that 400-450 was doing.

An extra tip, some masteron always seem to go well in the mix with test and npp. It seems to help with some of the sides and synergy of the cycle. Sounds like bro science, but I can only speak from experience.

Per @powerrack - no specific dose, but at one time NPP or Deca were some of my favourite add ins to TRT. I would just use 150 mg a week. This is an extremely moderate dosage, but I always gained significant strength and put on muscle over a 4 month period.
If you never used large amounts of steroids, a small amount goes a long way.

I never really started using it until I was on a peptide healing stack, and wanted to work on very slow progression of some lingering issues. I don't use orals so I picked Deca to add in because of the evidence it increases collagen synthesis, strengthens bones, and strengthens connective tissue.

If you find a rep range of 6 (just an example) all of the sudden starts to feel easy, just a suggestion but do not go wild and start increasing weight/reps by too much. Many people I know have had tendon/joint injuries while using Deca or NPP.
Considering I never go over 150 mg on the 100 of TRT, NPP kicks in faster due to its shorter ester but I find, for whatever reason, if patient, I get more from Deca (strength and growth which makes no sense as it is the same compound with a different ester). Due to Deca's long half life, expect to wait weeks to notice anything. Many say at least a month, but I notice it quicker. I usually start getting issues with sex drive, morning erections around 14-20 days after starting Deca and that is usually when I notice weight that felt heavy before is easier. NPP has the same negative side effects in 4-5 days.

Considering the low dose I am using due to concerns of LVH and why increase the dosage of something that already works at a lower dosage, most will consider this ridiculously low. As for side effects with the bedroom, it is not my prolactin according to blood work.

Let us know what you decide on and how it works.
